Ok I have a problem. I got the game 2 dayz ago. I started playing the game today. Its awesome alright but 1 bad thing(very bad). When I get to some woman in the beginning called Millenia or something i fight here(thats normal i know). But when she uses some move called Zap I think( the third move she does) I get hit. Then their is a skeleton head on top of me and im left on the ground and...well it looks like im down for the count cause it just stays there. all i can do is change the camera view lol. so plz help reply or send me an email...

Yes, you are suppose to lose to Millenia when she does that Zap spell on you. Which hinder your movements/commands. I wonder if it's possible to defeat her... Has anybody try that one out?

Nope, never succeeded in doin' so, as all the telltale signs of "boss-you-cannot-beat" were pretty much there, I think. I couldn't bring myself to hurt such a pretty lady anyways.

hehe, that is true. I kinda like her style. As being devious and playful.

Just curious about what would happen if Ryudo manage to defeat her, and the story might changes a bit. -hehe then again, I'm just fantasting on that one.

This is not a bug you just have to lose to her to carry on.
If you do beat her you dont get any exp points,coins or anything like i got when i did it once
so if you wanna get it over quick just LOSE

I'm very good at this game, and you cannot kill her, her stats are way too high to even hurt her. I'm not sure about cheating, but there is no way you can kill her.

The first time or two that I faced Millinia, the game froze at the point that I was zapped. The cd would spin for a while and then stop, then spin and stop, and then it just stopped. All I could do was change camera angles. I tried it again and it worked fine and didn't stick. I just figure that if your disk is dirty or scratched that it may have something to do with it, and I assume that it loads a large amount of info at that point and can glitch.

I cannot even lose to Millenia, once I suffer zap attack the game freezes, tried already 10 times

I got that same problem as well, every time i get to the pouint where millenia casts Zap!, i can't seem to get on with the game.....i've tried loads of times......does anyone have a sollution to this problem?

I played through fine and figured I couldn't beat her. If you keep getting stuck with the zap spell try killing yourself if possible, maybe you will be able to get on that way.

It's called paralized... And there's no way you can beat her in the begginning don't worry bout it. Just a status abnormality.

Sounds like an issue with your DC's GD-ROM reader. Check your Grandia II CD for scratches, dust, or other goo that would hinder the laser from reading the disc. If there is dust or goo carefully clean the disc.
If the disc is without a scratch or dust use a laser lens cleaning disc on the GD-ROM. Chances are the laser lens may have dust on it that needs to be cleaned.

Or if this doesn't work try playing the game on a friend's DC, if you can pass the area where you are stuck then your DC's GD-ROM unit may be failing. If so buy a new DC or get a used DC to replace yours.

If you play PSO and don't want to lose your system ID, then simply replace the GD-ROM unit. It's easy and can be done by almost anyone, 4 screws hold the bottom, and three hold the GD-ROM in place. Then GENTLY pull UP, swap the GD, then GENTLY push DOWN the GD to get it to connect with the DC mainboard. Do not use force, else you will hear a crack and have to replace both the GD and mainboard.

i need help with a jamming in the game
when im trying to get out of cyrum kingdom when ryudo arm aches, it jams there and his arm keeps aching with a purple ball and characters around him but the chracters are still moving!!! how to explain that?

I have a different kind a bugs.

When I get zapped, my character will have "Attack -2", and then second zap will be "Attack -4". Follow on will be "Attack -5". But I'm not parallized and I retaliate.
Soon she used up her mana point and start to use crossbow.
This is the only point where she can have me defeated. But once I am defeated, the whole game's over and I'll be at the title screen again. That made me mad. Until now I'm still stuck at that level.
