So where's Melfice? Ryudo asked if he was "still listening" at the end, but they never showed him... is he still buried underground? Did he die again?

Maybe Ryudo and Mareg were too pissed off with melfice that time and therefore strike as hard as they could. Hence, Melfice was killed altogether with Valmar... hehe

I was wondering how Milinea can still lived in the end. She's a Wing of Valmar, afterall.

Maybe she was just a person possessed with the Wings... but that wouldn't make sense since Elena was also infected. But the Wings were taken away by Zera, so she should be human-like... or something.

Milinea and Elena are one. There can only be Elena. Millinea is a Valmar without the wing in the end, also awaken by Elena. The ending is pretty funny because Millinea and Elena is not one anymore. They are two people. This is all too weird.

Maybe if there was a Grandia III they'd bring Melfice back. He'd make a cool playable character.

I think they just set it up for a sequel. It would be nice to play as melfice.

A sequel... I don't believe in that... If you can name at least one thing in the story that relates to the story in the first Grandia then you should really name it here...

I don't think the next Grandia will have anything related to Grandia II nor Grandia I....

Yeah it looks like they've "Pulled a Final Fantasy" with this series. Meaning each sequal really has nothing to do with the past games (other than the obvious weapons armor etc.)

they did that with wildarms also, but they killed melfice no coming back to life for him once melfice died the horns had to find a new home hence ryudo. so despite your hopes and dreams were never gonna see melfice again which is a damn shame because he has the coolest quote in the entire damn game "Words are meaningless now, dance with me, brother."

wanna know what the biggest hole in the game is? none of the grandia games r sequels 2 each other! grandia 2 and grandia 1 r different and grandia extreme has nothing 2 do with grandia 2! only the name grandia is the same. U foolish automata interfering...

I'll give you a rather big hole to think about. Before Mareg became insect chow, he prayed to Granas to take his chums to safety right? How the hell can Granas do that if he is dead? And to add dung to Mareg's stupidity, he should say "take us away to safety" instead of "take them away to safety". If he chose his words properly that time, he would still be alive and kicking more butts!

I'll give you another hole. Whenever Ryudo and co. confront the people infected with the parts of Valmar, they transform into a Valmar manifestation of the parts. So why didn't Melfice turn into the Horns of Valmar? Instead he fought as himself. One more thing, the Claws of Valmar were not in the room of chaos, why?
