Does anyone else find Millenia the most interesting character in the game? I find her personality to be the most developed and captivating. She's exciting to watch, even in battles. The other characters just seem to be ... well ... less interesting. Ryudo is ok, and gets better once you make it to Garlan Island. Tio's dullness is acceptible, being what she is. And Mareg is--well he is just Mareg. Elena could have been a bit more interesting. I'd see Ryudo being attracted to Millenia more than Elena, but maybe Elena "completes" him. (I can't believe I just said that.)

Anyway, I would have to vote Millenia as Player of the Game on this one.

Roan!?! I hate his voice-over, no offense to the Roan fans out there, but really, as a girl, i like.....

Young Melfice the best. I don't like the image the Millenia gives and Melfice old melfice is too, how should we say, evil.

Yeah, it sounds like Roan has got a frog rammed down his throat. He's meant to be 13, and i don't sound like that and im 13!

Even without the voice acting, Roan is kind of annoying. But he is tolerable, so I won't slam on him too hard.

For those of you who didn't know, this character is voiced in the US version by B.J. Ward, also known for GI Joe's Scarlett, Voltron's Allura/Nanny/Haggar, and more recently, Velma of the newer Scooby Doo adventures.

Lol, i don't think I'm watching scooby doo ever again. I never liked Voltron when it was Comp Gernerated. They charcters look weird.

I think that Melfice was the most interesting character put in the game. He reminds me of myself.

ryudo was the best when he turned into a creature of valmar (the spider thing) and I got all pumped up to battle when he sumthing like u cant beat me im too pure etc etc and then he went on to beat the boss

did anyone else find the last bit easy where u had to beat all the bosses again... thats probably coz i was like level 68 lol

For me the thuggest boss was the Heart of Valmar, when the "miss something stupid" jump to the swords, got? Well, but if im nor wrong, i never loss a battle, really. It may be cause i toke more hours exploring the game, and fighting, wich made me stronger, and that last boss, Zara New Valmar!?, My God, that was piece of cake, really!, it was so easy cause i was expecting other boss after him.
Well, no that i remember, i never got all my character dead in battle, cause i cant imagine what happen when the entire party dies.
Oh, and i finished the game with lvl 42 or 52 in almost 50 hours.

Yes Sophitia, i also think Milenia was the most interesting character in the whole game, and why? Cause she was in love, she had a great heart but didnt wanted to be showed, and she would do anything to reach her lover's heart. Plus, at the end she becomes a teatcher, having to deal with little pests, heheheh. Nice girl.

Oh... character analysis...

Millenia is interesting because she is full of contradictions. One one hand, she's the wings of Valmar, meant to be doing a load of evil and whatnot. Yet throughout the game she's fighting on the side of good. She carries a great responsibilty in having the wings of Valmar, but acts like a child for much of the time, acting on whims. Which is also at odds with the kind of philosophy she spouts. She falls in love with Ryudo - the one who is meant to kill Valmar.
Her character is also very... spicy, shall we say. Her battle cries are much more humourous than the others, fitting in with her personality.
"Off to the crematorium."

Ryudo is also interesting because he changes so much. Cold and hard to begin with, he ends up caring for what he does (hmm... Final Fantasy, anyone?). Much of his bitterness stems from his guilt over an event that wasn;t even his fault. He also manages to attract two women (hmm... Final Fantasy, anyone? ) who are completely different to each other. What kind of qualities do you need to do that?!

the only reason millenia is interesting is cuz shes misterious at the begining. i think that everyone is equally interesting.

OH and ryudo has a funny outgoing attitude and the secret about his brother. roan has the secret about his kingdom. elena has absolutely nothing but oh well. mareg is a forest guy, wat could be more interesting than that, tio has the mistory of how she was made and how she survived the war. and finnally milenia has wat i said above.

Well, Melfice isn't really a secret - Ryudo basically gives it away when they first meet Mareg.

It's... slightly... interesting to see how Elena hardens throughout the game, and her loss of faith towards the end. The whole game has a big side-swipe at religion in general, eh? Or maybe it's more of a celebration of humankind (and not-so-humankind)?

I too thought there was a message in there somewhere. I don't know if I would go so far
as to say that the message was anti-religion, but if you think about it, it does make you ask--if you are
part of some organized religion--what are you really worshipping? What does the religion, organization,
or cult that you are a part of really stand for or symbolize? What are the people at the top of the
food chain doing? What is your church asking you to do with your time and efforts? You're in church on
Sunday listening to some Bible-trained minister rattle off scriptures to you while somewhere else in
some other city, icons of the organization are sitting back in leather chairs smoking cigars, plotting
their next conquests.
