I'm currently playing Mega Man X2 on an Snes emulator; the emulator itself is zsnes. I haven't played the Mega Man X games in ages, and the only ones out when I was a kid were
Mega Man X, Mega Man X2, and Mega Man X3. I have a
controller to use for playing on basically any emulator, but
it's too much of a hassle to use, because you have to reenter the control configurations every time you go to play a ROM.

Anyway, basically what I would like to know is what controls do you use for the super jump for Mega Man X2? You don't need to have any special modifications with X's weaponry and armor, there is just a combination of controls you use with the buttons simultaneously that allow you to jump farther than normal. As said, I haven't played the game in ages, so I can't remember what the combination of buttons you use on the controller is to do the super jump.

In addition to this, I'm not using a controller, I'm using a keyboard for the game controls; you basically just go to edit and it gives you the option of input for either joystick, controller or keyboard and then you enter what
button is equivalent to what on the super nintendo controller.

For me they are as follows:
NOTE:The controls given are the original keys on the super Nintendo controller. I have given the keyboard equivalents that are used as controls on the Snes emulator I'm playing.

For Control Pad:

Up on Control Pad:Up arrow key
Down on Control Pad:Down arrow key
Left On Control Pad:left arrow key
Right on Control Pad:right arrow key

Start:Enter key
A button:x on keyboard
B button:z on keyboard
X button:S on keyboard
Y button: A on keyboard
L button:D on keyboard
R button:C on keyboard

It might be confusing asking people to give me the control configurations for the super jump for Mega Man X2 if I asked for these configurations for the keyboard controls I'm using on my emulator. So, just please give me the configurations for the super jump combo using the original super nintendo controls that you would use on the super nintendo controller please.

i believe you mean the famous "dash jump" technique.To do this,in megaman X you will need the leg upgrades,all other games start with this.You would press the a button on snes(x on your keyboard)to start a dash,then press jump at any time to "fly" a good distance.Hope this helps.
