Misure Belmont move's like a snail, the controls are sluggish, he can't jump properly to say his life and the graphics are quite ugly.
However, the whip mechanics work very nicely and it has a decent difficulty level. Not brilliant but, bearing in mind how old it is, I can see how newer iterations into the series could be good-great games and will try and hunt down a DS Castlevania. 66% If you're a Wii owner, I suggest you buy Actraiser instead. ------------------- Dragon Quest + Nintendo = <3

I agree, but Super Castlevania IV was one of the first games out on the SNES, so it certainly didn't have the graphics that some of the later SNES games did.
But I have to agree with you 100% about the jumping. They were more like hops than jumps. ------------------- ~Vita summa brevis spem nos vetat incohare longam~ ~The shortness of life prevents us from entertaining far-off hopes~

/agree with the hopping, but you GOT to admit it had the best music out on the SNES in its time. I used to play it just to hear the music!

You gotta be kidding me, this still stands as the best Castlevania imo (CV3 was pretty good too, close match up). He's a little choppy but the game as years ahead of its time. It's one of the only snes games I still play because it has so much creativity.
