Okay, this guy's been getting on my nerves for too long. Every time I fight Kintaro, no matter who I fight him with, I lose. Does anyone have a good strategy to use against this guy with Scorpion?

Yeah this guy gives me trouble too. The best thing to do jump kick him with anyone. The person I beat him the most with is Baraka.

quote protomanexe07The best way to beat him for me was to use Kitana, get him in the corner and keep doing the fan wave lift. He'll block over and over, get pissed and growl, then get caught in the wave and float. Jump kick/fan throw him or whatever your warped little mind can come up with. Repeat until dead. ------------------- http://musecube.com/michaelpatano Yes, I am a photographer :")

Aah, Kintaro. Best boss in all of Mortal Kombat. Battles with him are always intense and challenging. One lapse in your concentration and you lose.
To beat him consistently you have to be defensive most of the time, counterattacking him whenever you can and a good gut feel can tell you when to sneak an offensive move. A good trick is to retreating by foot and hitting him with a sweep as he enters the range. It will work most of the time, if properly timed, but if you miss, he is likely to plummet at you. Even if you hit, be prepared for a quick fireball. With enough practice, he can be beaten consistently with any character, although with some it's easier than with others. It seems pretty easy with Baraka, Scorpion, Shang Tsung and Rayden. Harder with Kung Lao, because his foot sweep sucks.

I beat him with Sub-Zero easiest, takes me 1-2 tries. (this is on very easy setting although) What I do is first jumpkick if he blocks I uppercut if he doesnt then I freeze, uppercut freeze, uppercut... It takes some practise to freeze quickly. I also sometimes corner him and do two roundhouses in a row before he hits the ground.
