it would be kewl to see tommy vercetti in this game, like, as an employer or sumtin. since the other gta games are set back in a diff time, he should have been a rambling old man who kills random people. any thoughts?

No it would not be cool,honestly I don't think Vercetti could fit into this gangster life style like CJ.He could make another appearance as an old man though in new GTA games.

dude i think i found vercetti on the mission for tenpenny when u 1st get to angel pine, where u kill the guy and take his picture, it looks alot like him i thought

It's not Vercetti though. The pictures taken in that mission get seen again in a mission later and the people in all the photos taken are then explained. Vercetti never gets a mention.

Well, whats his face from GTA III is in it, so why not? However, Vercetti wouldn't be an old guy, being as though Vice City takes place in 1986 and San Andreas in 1992, it's only six years older. Besides, plenty of the characters in this game don't "fit" in CJ's gangster lifestyle, but they sure do play a major role in this game (ie. The Truth, Wu Zi Mu), I think Tommy would've been pretty cool somewhere in this game.

PS: am I the only one who thinks Wu Zi Mu looks like Neo?

This might be a **spoiler** for some but..

He does get a mention in this game, a funny one at that too, remember when you're with Rosenberg in that shoot-out in the warehouse? and how he says "THIS IS JUST LIKE OLD TIMES, EH TOMMY?!" after which Carl says "Who the *bleep* is Tommy?"

Now that you mention it, yeah i remember that too. I chuckled when I heard that. Can't believe i forgot about it. Well i suppose Dido/Claude from GTA3 was in SA so why not Tommy.

Fido was in because he didn't really have a personality or didn't talk so we never knew what kind of person he was.

And we still don't know.He's still quite and says nothing. I was hoping he would say something to Cj like give back cheek or something. Ah well, maybe the next GTA will have Dido, Tommy and CJ in it.

you do a mission later in the game with ken rosenberg, yes that lawyer from VC, and you two are going through a meat packing plamnt, killing everyone, and he's like" this is great tommy, just lke old time"

i thought that the guy from gta 3 was tommy vercetti this whole time. and i was puzzled because in III he never talked and in vice city he talked a bunch

They are 2 completly different guys. Besides VC was set in the 80s so if the guy from GTA3 was the same guy then he would be about 50 or something.

though that doesnt mean that tommy vecetti couldnt run into the fido chacter, or CJ. he'd just be an older italian gentleman, with lots of money drugs, and guns

with all the people tommy has killed he maybe dead!!! or in prison
