quote Steel Magnolia
The Zelda background does move in exactly the same way mine does.
I think the main reason it looks so good is that the background only covers the section around the header and stuff, not the entire page. This makes it much easier, but it takes some advances HTML skills.

re: General Discussion

Are the controls for this game the same as they were for gta 3 and vice city? I remember to change the radio in vice city was the white button, which was *bleep*ed. In gta 3 your could easily change the station with the L trigger, is it like that for san andreas?

re: General Discussion

Well, it's probably the same. In GTA III to change the radio station was the black button and it still is in Vice City. Probably is in SA too.

Vehicles/foot
Turn/move: Left thumbstick
Horn (or siren)/crouch: Left thumbstick button
Look to the sides and behind/look in first person: Right thumbstick
Shoot/not used: Right thumbstick button
Get in vehicle/not used: Y
Not used/jump: X
Hand brake/not used: B
Not used/sprint: A
Accelerate/shoot: R
Decelerate (or reverse)/lock on (or aim): L
Change CD or CD track (while holding black)/not used: D-Pad
Change view/change view: White
Change radio station/not used: Black

That's how it was in Vice City. It's probably the same, except some not used might be used in San Andreas.

Question

While playing the game, can I have custom music in the game? If so, what station would it even play on? And how would you do it?

My friend told me you can, but when I ask how he says "I don't know"

re: General Discussion

Yes you can have your custom soundtracks playing. All you have to do is scroll through the radio stations to the last one, this is called "User Track Player" or something like that. This will start playing your saved music. You can skip through thr music by holding down left or right on the D-Pad for a couple of seconds. I hope this helps.

re: General Discussion

Hey, how exactly do you put the custom tracks? My friend has an Xbox that he might give (or sell for cheap) to me, and I was gona rent or get GTA and try it.

(I have no idea how you would go about doing this. Not sure if there are instructions to do this anywhere)

re: General Discussion

First of all you need to turn the xbox on with a music cd in it and copy the tracks to the hard drive. Then when you have done that you can play them in the game by scrolling through the radio stations until you reach the "User track player". They will start playing then.

re: General Discussion

Yeah, that custom sound track feature is the best thing, its great playing the game while having your favourite music in the background. Though afew of the radio station isnt too bad either, if only you can scroll through the songs as well...lol

re: General Discussion

They *bleep*ed up the custom soundtracks in this game. I liked in Vice City and III where your song would be paused until you turned it back on.

The radio stations in this game are boring and nowhere near as funny as Chatterbox or VCPR. Lazlow only makes a cameo appearance, unlike VC and III where he had his own show.

re: General Discussion

Yes, all three GTA games on the Xbox had custom soundtracks. Vice City had cassette tapes, III had CD's.

re: General Discussion

Vice City. That games was better in oh-so many ways. If only they made a remake with THE SAME characters, THE SAME storyline (with some more side missions), but they upped the graphics, and added the great features of San Andreas like more flying vehicles, and eating, and all that stuff. Tommy Vercetti was the coolest guy ever, and it was taking place in the best time period, the '80s. The music wasn't plagued by the atrocity of rap or modern rock. The radio stations were hilarious and actually played good music. Man, that was the best game, and I was terrified when I found out I had beaten it.

re: General Discussion

Yeah, mine too. I grew quite attached to Tommy Vercetti and was greatly disappointed when they made a new character in GTA SA, I was hoping they would use the same character..lol

I actually like the graphic in Vice City more than in SA, and the sound tracks are definitely better...
