Does this game seem to ALWAYS make sure your best players are out injured for extended periods once you get into the English Premier league?

For instance, i have recently got Wolves promoted and brought 4 very good players for next to nothing (freddy Gurarin, Michael Wienghorst, Gerard) are all out injured.

Last time i played as QPR and got them into the Premier league, Nicky Butt was my major signing along with 2 German strikes who's names i forget....it was these three players that were always injured for extended periods.

Anyone else find this?

i have thought it was just me!! either i will get a key player injured for a few months every year or my big new signing or as soon as someone hits some good form they pick up a knock. maybe im just been paranoid...

it happens in just about every season to me,once when i got to the champions league with Real Madrid Zidane,Carlos nd Raul got injured in the time i got through the semi to the day of the final.i think its just to make the game that bit harder:confused:

i've had this as well, I had my main striker Kerzhakov (spelling?) out for about 4 months when he had rattled in about 20 goals before christmas!

i have just spent 15m on poldolski(sp) he has played 2 games scored 4 goals and guess who is out for the rest of the season...

It happens to me to!!!!

I had to big games coming up and my key striker and attacking midfielder were injured!!!

I still managed to scrape out two wins, but it was touch and go!!

I had Kerzhakov. He scored 5 in his first 3 games then got injured for 3 months. Came back, injured in his first game back. I think it is some players. Most my team lasted 40+ games in my last completed season, only 2 out for more than 3 months (One was for 7 months :'( ).

It isn't just big teams. Grant Mcann (spelling) was injured for 24 months when i was in charge of cheltneham
