I have noticed that no one on this forum has metioned the game. I find this curious, since that's what the forum is for. So, back to my original question. Has anyone here even played this game? Please respond, as I am intersted in your answer.

I have! It was one of the first games I ever owned. Marble Zone was my favourite... loved the noise the fireballs made, and running away from the river of lava. Classic.

Sonic 1? Sure I've played it. I completed it, but I never got all the emeralds. Don't bother, it's pointless...

Yep I've played it and I still got it, my favorite level is Spring Yard Zone because I like the music.

Hell yeah, I got it with my Mega Drive back in Christmas of 1991. My favourite level was Star Light Zone.

sure of corse I played this game! The first level is like the same thing has sonic 2 but... oh well this was a good game, to bad sonic couldn't roll into a ball and shoot forward like he can now!

I've played it. It's better than Sonic 2 but I still like Sonic 3 better than this one.

I played this game so very much, and still I like it. Star Light Zone is my favorite stage, I like the music.

Does anyone know the shortcut in Marble Zone, Act 3?
When you passed the big lavalake with two geysers, and then you have to go beneath to pass another lavalake, with swinging island, you don't have to go beneath, but you have to walk over the spiked platform and walk trough the wall, you will walk a lot after the wall, and you will find on your way a 1-up, it ends where you have the spid stairs that lead to outside near the boss.

Yeah, I found it on the first try.

If you start in Spring Yard zone, in the first act, and when you're launched in the beginning of the act, don't move to the gate (where you continue the act...)
but when you are in air, move to the left, you will see a little platform in the air with some bonus.

And when you start in the Star Light zone (act 1), you will normally jump up, but try rolling in the first wall you see, you will roll through, and there will be some bonus.

Anyway, do you know the level-select code?

When the title-screen appears press

Up Down Left Right Start (when you press Start (you will hear a Ring-grab sound), hold it) and then press A.

A level-select screen appears, inclusive a sound-test.

Because there is no Sonic 3 thread, I'll tell it here...

Did anyone else ever climbed the ice slope with Knuckles, if you put Sonic 3 in Sonic and Knuckles, and start as Knuckles in Ice Cap, you have to try to climb the slope. It's a real challenge and it will take much time. But the sight of Knuckles standing on the top is really cool.
Then roll all the way down.
