Soccer in USA |
|
I feel so alone with this sport. When I play in high school, I play mostly with and against immigrants, hardly ever with Americans. Whys there so much dislike of the beautiful game that brings the world together? Surely between baseball, basketball, football, and hockey, there must be room.

I don't play it but I enjoy watching soccer more than every US sport combined times 1,000.

that is the classic american attitude. the truth is americans are content with baseball(most boring sport ever watch or play ive done it)or football maybe hockey and some basketball. but the world loves soccer. I find it hilarious how closed minded some people are. like my roommate from minnesota hates soccer but hes never seen a game or played a game. he says they are not as good of athletes as baseball players. (that argument took 2 days to finish)finally I made him watch a game where he saw someone do a scissor kick and make a goal. He jumped up and said " omg did you see that" then realized he hated soccer and sat back down. so screw americans they can have their sports and the world will have soccer, who do you think will be happier!

I love it when someone says they hate soccer because soccer is a pussy sport.
Well, anyway, I think the reason why soccer is not that famous in the US is because of the franchise, I think. Compared to another sports, soccer scene in the US is still growing (not all of states are actually participating, while in the other countries, almost all of the cities take a part in the football scene) So yeah, it's not really a surprise if soccer is not that famous, yet. ------------------- ![]() EYE AM THE SMARTEST EYE CAN SPELL EYE ROW NEE

quote SKRALOGYScrew you and your "All Americans Suck Attitude." Soccer is boring as *bleep* to watch. I'd rather sit in some crazy veterans home and listen to war stories. Nevertheless it is fun to play but that is whole different picture. And tell me, how many times a game do you actually see a deke in a game? From the games I've seen, not at all. All you see are through passes and crosses every single play. B-O-R-I-N-G. While I do like baseball, I'm am well aware that is can very boring but when you are watching your team play, any sport can be exciting. Bottom line, screw every other sport and watch hockey. Fast paced, close to non stop action is FTW! ![]() That last comment wasn't 100% serious btw quote SKRALOGYAnd this was probably the dumbest comment I have ever read. ever. ------------------- ![]()
