	West Coast midfielder Chris Judd is the runaway winner of the 2004 Brownlow Medal. The 21-year-old polled 30 votes to win by seven from one of last year's winners, Adelaide skipper Mark Ricciuto, with Port Adelaide defender Chad Cornes third one vote behind Ricciuto on 22. Sydney Swans tagger Brett Kirk and Scott West were equal fourth.
