I got Vista Home premium installed on my laptop, managed to install Sacred and Sacred Plus, the game starts, then after about 5 minutes it totally freezes and I have to reset. I got directX 9 and 10 installed. I've been told that it could be my CPU overheating, but I don't think so. Anyone else having problems/solutions?
(I've tried running in XP through the program compatibility wizard and running as admin)

I just installed this on vista, it works great!! no problems, no compatibility needed.. You should have only one direct x.. I think they update the number if you upgrade the version, I think you should check your vents for it, they may be clogged.

Hi - not that anyone will ever get this or respond to it, but I'm desperate! Trying to play Sacred on Vista, but won't work (same as first posting) - Vista kicks me out before game actually begins. Not sure what the second posting is instructing exactly?! Can someone help?

Is it on a Desktop computer or laptop? Maybe the prior poster should use the compatibility utility? It does work fine though.. Try installing and running it without an Antivirus... If you have a laptop also work on clearing out the vents. If that all doesn't work, run defrag. If none of this doesn't work. I'm not sure what is wrong then.. I'll keep working with you on it though.
