changing music on mvc2
|
a friend of mine found a way to change the music on his copy of mvc2. He gave me a copy of it, but the one i have is scratched and i would like to put new music on it. I have been trying to find somewhere on the internet that explains how to do this. From what i hear its not that hard. If anyone knows how to do this or a link that explains it please email me
Thanks

I know how to do this, but it is complicated, here's the tutorial though.
1.You need a MIDI or MP3 Player on the computer, the best one is Windows Media Player
2.You need to get a list of tracks you want to put in the MvC2 play list. Put all those in a file, You can have 12 at the most.
3.Put the MvC2 disc in the CD Drive and open up the file, there should be a music file, open that file and replace that file with the Folder you made, after doing so, close the window.
4.Open windows media player or the MP3 player of your choice, open up the MvC2 music folder and play the files to see if they are not corrupted.
5.It should be done, after doing so,take out the MvC2 and see if it works on the Dreamcast.
I dont take any responsibility for any damages of your Disc.
There ya go.

thats so wrong.
First ooff you need a to burn a new disc not just replace the folder and take it out. How is that possible. Second there wont be a "music" folder on the disc. All the files and folders will be in file types that your operating system probaly wont reconize. once you got the disc in, do a search on the file type and find out what program reconizes those types. From there you can find out what files are music files. From there you can replace those files with those of your own. (preferably wave files instead of mp3s
