Another good team is Juggernaut, Hulk, and Sentinel. Juggernaut and Hulk have the damage and can whip most anyone while Sentinel has the long range factor and can hit most anyone with his mouth beam, and those too-shorts or crouch-a-lots, can still be hit by Sentinel's kicks or Hulk's ground quake, Juggernaut's charge can them no matter what!

so what if i don't know what infintes are .i'm still the best megaman there is out there. are you telling me that since i don't know 1 and only 1 thing about my favorite character i'm not good with him? and how much would it change my game play if i did know it huh? well ne wayz i'm still holdin it down with mm. and i have played really good players and had crazy fights against some incredible teams. like for instance there was this one guy i played hoe used strider, doom, and magnito he had one of the best links i had every senn and i took me a couple of time before i could actually beat him. he would keep me in a combo with magnito untill i died or he felt like letting me go. i just wanted to point out that i have had some good fight ok, i was just saying most people don't know how to fight with doom and i have never come across a player howe can beat me with blackheart.

i've all ways used mm and i would make people fell bad when i picked roll in the frist mvc and beat there asses with such a weak character but servbot is anothr thing i just couldn't do it with the guy i try to play with him the way i did with roll and i got my ass kicked like u would believe so i change my team.

No one can beat my super team.

Power and Speed, no one can match that suckas!

Cable is easily the best character on MvC2
His moves are excellent and has good power and a good long range attack with his guns. Put together with fast characters such as ryu or ken and a big powerful character such as m.bison the team is unstoppable.

Try and beat that!

When I'm not playing competatively I like to use what I call "Themic" teams. These are teams that consist of characters that all have something in common with each other, and are fun to play on the same team. Examples:

Berzerkers: Zangief,Colossus,Hulk
High Rollers: M. Bison,Dr.Doom,Thanos
Sword Masters: Hayato,Silver Samurai,Strider (all in black)
Tooth and Claw: Wolverine,Sabertooth,Felicia
Mad Hatters: M. Bison,Ruby Heart,Magneto
Green Destiny: Shumma Gorath,Hulk,Amingo
Team Annhilation: Sentinal,War Machine,Iron Man

Those are just some of the examples me and my friend developed over the years. It makes the game more fun when you can think of a team and give it a name, and call it your team.

And as far as competative play goes......

Sentinal is easily the most used character, and the best. He takes 75% normal damage to ratio of 100%, and he has chain combos, the ability to fly, excellent assist types, and a hyper that can be used in an arial rave.

Cable is a contender because of the Hyper Vyper. The move is extremely effective, can be cancelled into, and hit many different ways, and does hefty damage when extended. He comes with the scimitar, and his hyper cna also be used in an arial rave. Taking 100% damage is average, so he can last long enough.

I lean between Guile and Cammy as the third member of what I would call "The Dream Team" (SEGA FOR LIFE). Guile can hit all his hypers very effectively. He takes 100% damage, he is quick, and he is very good at launching a continual offense with the sonic boom. He has a uable hyper in an arial rave as well, but it doesnt get off as often as most. Cammy on the other hand is quicker, and double jumps. She might take 110% damage, but she makes up for it with an ecellent move base, and a hyper combo that not only hits well in an arial rave, but it looks sick too. I take Guile over Cammy just becaue of the 10% difference, and Guile's anti air assist.

What up. Just would like to tell you my team. First off their's Thanos who does mad damage when he's put on his Launcher type. Then Anakaris who is pretty quick and does most of the damage when he put on ground type and he up close when he does it. Last you have to have Gambit on your team. Most of the time I try to do my hyper special with gambit in because if you don't gambit won't get as many hits because anakaris picks your enemy up off the ground where gambit will be throwing his cards in the projectile type. Most of the time I get around 110 hits with that team. What you really won't to do is get very close to your enemy and that way you get the full effect of my team.

BlueGhost...I can tell from the description of your megaman tactic that you enjoy using volleys of projectiles in an attempt to overwhelm your opponent. Megaman may be the anti Ryu, but Bulleta (B.B. Hood) is the anti-megaman. Back+Down+Roundhouse = Mine toss, the perfect anti-mega-buster. Cheer of fire (lateral) takes care of weakly charged buster shots, and Cool Hunting ices the cake. Not to mention her Down+Down+2K dodge that allows her to miss everything save one of her own style missles. Megaman's charged shots are extremely difficult to pull off, and extended combos for Mega are even harder as his launcher has almost zero lateral range. Before you go implying that one tactic is inferior, evaluate your own. Everybody here has the wrong impression; y'all are attempting to bash each other's teams and favorite characters. What you don't realize is that in competition, that arrogance shows through in your tactics, and arrogance leads to carelessness. As far as I'm concerned, everybody should keep boasting, you're making it easier for those of us who actually compete.

darkstalker....man you hurt me why such harsh words.well on hand you right and on the other your wrong. you are completey correct when you say that arrogance exposes weakness i can tell you now that i know that too well. but as for you analysis on my fighting tactics sorry man you couldn't be further from the truth in all realitly i did start off as an attack type player and i still am with styder. but with the blue bomber na man i like to call myself a reation player because spent alot of time finding out every thing i could about MM in my fights and i realize he takes damage like a bitch not as bad as stryder but you get the point. ok what i'm saying is i react to my opponent if i see ryu's haduken i let got of my chagre shot if he spin kicks i uce t.hold same if he jumps at me but i do try to keep the pressure on with him. and i really would like to see your bb hood in action because no ofence but i have never lost to bb hood maybe magneto but not bb hood. beside i like to get more hand to hand with shrot reach players like that.

Seems like there is a lot you guys could learn about the technical and physical side of the game. I'm talking about the numbers game here. Who is fast, who does damage, who takes damage. I recommend going to cheatcc.com and looking under the marvel vs capcom 2 section and then under the strategy guide. Throughout the years I have found the site to be very informative and helpful. With 56 playable characters, the option to choose the same charcter up to 3 times, and 3 different assist types, you can arrange well over 500,000 different teams. Well I havn't done the math just yet, but its up there.

By the way, I'm goign to have to go with gentle ben on this one. Anybody who puts cable and captain commando on the same team posses a pretty good threat.
