sentinel/omega red/juggernault

Hmm...suddenly i love to use sentinel plus assist of psylock.found out that there are 2 combos which need doing at the corner.guess what?it can kill a character without using any supers!!!

uh...

what is cheap?? the only cheap thing in any fighter is infinite combos. you can do the same thing as they can if you cant do it better than your the one with zero skill.

Well im not superb at mvc2 but my friend mandel is. Hes a bad*bleep*ingass so hes teaching me. My team(s) are.

Magnus
Doom
Capt. Commando

reason:
Magnus has a nasty rush down, commando allows for the flyer protection, and doom for the ground protection. if magnus is out dooms rushdown can be fairly leathal also. capt. commando allows for a decent 5-7 hit combo that does fair damage. All around this team is nice for a very well balanced team.

my second team is in the works. I cant choose from

those when I finish will also be very well balanced for defence and offence.

For some reason I sure as hell cant play like the pros but I can make em some damn good teams.

Alrighty here...I've modified my teams, and I've read pretty much all the s**t that's been posted. First of all, I will always use Morrigan for the simple fact that, she is not 'low tier' simply because she is lowly priced in the 'shop' section. She has been voted, BY CAPCOM, to be the 3rd most powerful character in the capcom universe, losing ONLY to Ryu in first and Akuma in second. Also; Her comboability outmatches pretty much anything out there, her throws have insane priority when you're in close, and her moves make her great for keep-away.

Now, I know a lot of people say 'keep away is cheap!' But listen here; Infinate combos are cheap. Cornering your opponent and using constant assists and chain combos so you actually chip them down without getting any attacks actually hit, that's cheap too. Dodging and playing keep away is a tactic. If you cant catch the keep away character, maybe you need more practice. Now, just listen to my Morrigan Justification principle here...

Morrigan's moves are quick and easily comboed with each other. You can easily go from an LP LK MP MK combo back into LP or into HP launcher to continue punishment aloft. Her Darkness Illusion takes down about 1/3 of a lifebar in one go, which is pretty sweet when you think of some other characters supers that don't even do half as much. Soul eraser covers about 3/4 of the screen, and unless your opponent is expecting it, it's a damn handy weapon. Her Vector Drain has INSANE priority when your opponent is within rage. They WILL take damage unless they resort to Tech Hits (Another cheap maneuver.) Morrigan is quite easy to use as a cheap powerblaster, but, she is also a good fighter with solid moves and combos if used correctly. The only disadvantages to her are; Darkness Illusion Chips worth Nil. She takes damage like a 3 year old. If you miss with Vector drain, Grab your ankles cuz yer gonna get raped.

My other team characters:

Jill: Jill is a keep-away fighter for the most part. Her zombie escapes (of all types) give her an advantage over the competition and provide helpful distractions so that she can maneuver in and whoop some ass. Jill also has the chargeable Charging S.T.A.R.S move which, when used correctly, can be a powerful defensive and offensive maneuver, and if used incorrectly, a cheap neusance. Her Grenade Launcher can be used after a Cerberus-Crow-Zombie combo to keep your opponent at bay until you can either A. Get over there. B. Call in someone else to get over there. C. Set up a team super.

My third choice:

Psylocke: She's got more air maneuverability than almost anybody besides Sentinel, Iron Man, Storm and Magneto. She's the basic Anti-Chun-Li in every aspect: She jumps the same number of times in the air, she has the same basic super types (Dash, Stationary) and her moves have about the same priority. Psylocke has a leading edge over Chun Li, however, and that's range. Chun Li's hard punch doesn't reach as far as Psylocke's because Betsy busts out the Psionic Knife. Plus, Psylockes Air HP has insane priority when she's above her opponent, and her hits combo more easily than Morrigan's in some cases. She takes Damage Better than Morrigan and about the same as Chun Li, and Psylocke's combo-ability leaves Chun Li in the dust. However, Psylocke is not without weakness. The only disadvantage is that Many of Psylocke's special moves leave her open to attack, such as Psi Blade. After the initial flash of energy, she's defenseless and as vulnerable as a child. Plus, Psylocke's Psi-Thrust chips very little, the same going for her other supers.

And finally, a note to the braggers: Bragging how everybody sucks and you win constantly is not a sign of good sportsmanship or maturity. Games may be games, but being a 'sore winner' can make you about as popular at the arcade as Micheal Jackson in an orphanage. Always remember, there's always going to be someone better, stronger, faster and smarter than you. It's not WHO you use, it's HOW you use them, and cheap tactics often attract skilled players that wish to teach cheapos a lesson. Say what praise you will for your own team, but don't disrespect others simply because you disagree with thier choices. After all, you never know when you'll meet one of them and they'll prove you wrong.

:P:confused:I'm not trying to copy or anything like that but i like Akuma, Ryu, and Ken. They all Kick so much ass, so much more than any of your crappy ass teams!

My team is Iron Man , Magneto , Psylock

Magneto:(Projectile) He has amazing rush-down combos, second of all he has so many different variations of the Magnetic Tempest air combo it leaves your opponent guessing what your going to do. Third and foremost literally any assist can be linked into the Tempest air combo.

Iron Man:(Projectile) He takes care of the projectile portion of my team, his Proton Cannon does so much chip damage. Not to mention if you combo into it. With a no super move, 63 hit air combo , and possibly the best defense. (Excluding Larger Characters)

Psylock:(Anti-Air) She takes care of the link portion. Her anti-air assist combos into practically anything,and then leaves you time to catch your breath as your opponent is being ripped up by her Psyblades. She is the exellent team member for Magneto.

And for all you infinite lovers out there all I can say is what goes around, comes around...

Rogue (dash): combos endlessly, very effective under the cover of dr. dooms anti air assist. unblockable kiss "power up" is heaven scent.

Dr. Doom (anti air): I use him for his assist while I rush in with Rogue up close. His assist assures that if Rogue gets hit, she doesn't get comboed for long.

Some filler guy, like Ryu or Cable or Iron Man (anit-air or projectile): I don't need this dude, but he's a backup plan if Rogue dies. But you know, Rogue never dies.

I would have to say my team is Cable, Stryder, and Wolvering (the faster one). I am disappointed they made Mega Man so weak in this one. Or should I say slow.

hayato:B HE'S MY FAVORITE GROUND CHARACTER. if you can get aair attack on the person you can do his sphere and then have unlimited supers! its fun to fight with him and his attacks are fast and healthy.

sakura.r same reason why i like hayato but she's very easier ro get a air combo. her super move are all fast and multi use ful especially her grab hyper combo.

cable:my jinx guy. i use him mostly to get all the characters i need. then when i get ironman and warmachine i make a record and then see if someone can break it.

when i have my characters!
cammy/morrigan:the best of the best girls. love morrigans hyper combo projetile its so unpredictable. and cammys spiderman look alike is so use in far away combat. i use cammy more but are requally good with both.

hayato: still i use him no mater what i do.

jin: he is the second easiest person to play with.[next to hayato]. he and i love his double punch launcher. i defeat people in almost 10secxonds with him until they get a projetile operson. but if i can master his tornado super[not hyper combo] i will be better with him!

I would have to say the best combo of charaters would have to be sentiel, dr.doom, and magneto because I found from watching some tournaments and found those were the guys people were using most so I started training with them and there awesome. I mean alone with magneto you can get 132 hit combo. when you use dr. doom then DHC into sentiel moves it works out perfect.
