First of all, start with Hayato..I work my way into the corner with my opponent, Then Beat Down comes into effect. Bingo..thats about to wrap it up. If you start with Strider, However, you may easily avoid Projectiles. Samauri is mainly based upon for his power.

hah hah i'm a jin player, so my honorable no assist team is Guile, Jin, and Akuma, the key is balance guile can take hits and i keep him in there long enough to build the meter to lvl 2 tag out to akuma and hurricane kick into air hyper, into jin's hurricane, jin takes care of the rest.... against people who use assists i might just use assists myself Iceman Projectile, Dr. Doom AA, Black heart AA nuff said

I'm prolly a standard jin player, Sweep, dynamite, sweep blodia, hurricane into vulcan, hurricane into cyclone, hurrican into punch, dynamite into cyclone, and thanks to that guy for showing me that double blodia punch, i actually pulled it off the other day lol

Actually, strider is fun to play as, and can do pretty good damage if you use his super attacks right. My new favorite team has become 1. Jin(anti-air) 2. Captain Commando(anti-air0 and 3. Gambit(projectile). Their hyper combo isn't great if you use it at the same time, but If you get a combo with gambit, switch to jin, hurricane, switch and use captain commando's anti air super attack while the enemy is up, it works pretty well.

Strider is good, but 3 Striders is a terrible team.

Strider isn't all that great, he's pretty good but his ourboros is the only thing keeping this guy a float, as far as covering your point man, who better than jin anti air assist? Iron man and jin work pretty great together, iron man's shoulder beam keeps them grounded so jin can approach , and jin can cover him if magnus or someone who can take him out close gets a little well ... you know.

Of all the things I've discredited Jin for, keeping away the likes of Strider won't be won't of them. Jin is a great assist for the job.

As far as Strider not being good--he's excellent. He's the type that depends on a grounding assist a bit. But as long as your opponent is on the ground, Strider can totally kill him.

Try gambit, Jin, and anyone else. Preferably captain commando (AA), or Iron man/War machine are good

I've gotta go with Iron Man. Just be warned that learning to use Iron Man well takes a lot of time. I don't mean just learning the infinite, because that doesn't mean anything unless your skilled enough to set it up well. A lot of those tricks that people use doen't mean much without the skill.

Anyways, If you ever have one of those crazy Storm/Rogue/Magneto people rushing you down, Iron Man's anti-air assist is great for stopping them. And just about anyone can capitalize with a super.

For starting off, you can air combos like: launch, lp, lk, up+hp, hk, air dash up/forward, lp, lk, up+hp, fly, up+hp, hp unibeam.

And learn to tri-jump with him(superjumping up, then airdashing down/forward to switch sides with your opponent) using down+hp, or lk. And use hk to stop people from jumping in.

There's a ton of stuff you can do with Iron Man. He's great.

Just keep on winning in Score attack mode and buy ing out the whole store. Make sure you buy everything that you can, including levels. If the whole store is sold out and you still don't have them all, beat arcade mode a bunch of times.
