Sentinel is great, really is, but the fact remains, if you have a really fast light punch/kick, and a assist to cancel out their assist, ol' drone boy is easy pickings, the fact that he is so big allows you to hit in the air 3 times before landing and hitting low , if you mix it up , 2 punch air , 2 attack ground no sweep, jump up 3hits , 2 ground attacks, they won't be able to block, even with super armor he's bound to get clobbered, he can jump back and try to hit, but for someone like magnus, just block and disrupt em, or horizontal fb , for beginner sentis, you can beat them with dan, which is embarassing, stat wise , dan is the underdog by alot, ... just keep with the little fists and kicks, frigging senti, he gives the pharoh a hard time, despite being a giant guy, i can't grab his little waist, it's weird how he is so super skinny, he must work out...

Sentinel is flat-out beaten by: Magneto, Cable
Sentinel can get beaten by: Strider
Sentinel can get a tough match from: Dhalsim, Cyke, Storm(not really), IronMan(I think), MegaMan

That's it. Not Jin, not Sakura, not Dan, not Guile.

It really depends on the player, because auctually any person can be beaten by anyone, as long as they have the skills to do it. I also wanted to add it's kinda weird because I am a PLATINUM member on GAMECOMBOS and every time you try and argue someone is better every one will say SENTINEL owns. I guess not on this forum though

But I agree JIN is pretty good but I found IRON MAN is #1 also BLACK HEART assist-B and I use CAPCOM alot now to.

I was waiting for someone to say that, cause I had to find that out the hard way almost a year ago, when I was just starting to get good at this game(I really sucked at this game at first; took me about 4 months later to start winning in arcade competition). But yes anybody can beat anybody with enough skill. Just character wise though, Sentinal does have the edge over the others since he does take the least damage and has super armor, but that won't last long if your opponent keeps comboing you with otg's and crossups, and even thcs.

I think Sentinal's most deadly with cable as he teammate cause most people will use Sentinal's ground assist to set up Cable's AHVBX3, but with other partner's he's just like anybody else.

It's also good to see that not everybody plays as Sentinal. Cause in a game with 56 characters and everybody's playing only as sentinal, then it would be a perfect time to start playing more Capcom Vs Snk 2

Not jin? how can you say that? Sentinel gets predictable, he may be crazy but that doesn't mean jin isn't either, it just takes timing, after jin f p in air sentinel gets scared and goes for his f pan punch atack see it coming, blodia vulcan, ( it only works well if they catch you jumping) be ready with cyclone or vulcan, they try to cross u up with f cancel , vulcan, jin will break you in half in a corner, double blodia.....man.... (I'll find the 3rd hyper cancel i know i will) it is alot about skill, in arcade i suck, i haven't goten accostomed to it .... but i will...

Okay, I'll make it simple:
When comparing characters, you are comparing them at either their MAX potential, or YOUR OWN skill level. It's best to compare them at their max potential, because that's the highest skill level your greatest advasary can reach.

At their max, the ones I listed are the only ones. Not Jin.

If Jin is in the air, I fly after him and use HP on him. It has more range, and priority than any of Jin's options.

If Jin is across screen, he dies. He loses to all of Sentinel's traps with Blackheart, Spiral, Cable, Storm, Magneto, Doom or just by his freaking self.

Since most GOOD Sent's will come with Captain Commando, Cammy, Or Cyclops, Jin getting in close is not a good idea.

Sentinel's stamina is phenomenal, and his strength as much so. Jin doesn't compare in either catagory, meaning Sentinel making a mistake isn't nearly as costly as Jin making on.

Oh, and don't forget HSF, even with Guard Cancelling, Jin can't do much about it.

Well, as an assist, he does better. Jin's assist is almost totally invincible, and has great range. It also knocks Sentinel away, and while that might not be terrible on Sent's part, it gives the point fighter on Jin's team a second to think.

Sentinel has an unblockable,so its pretty useful...I use Sentinel ALOT!

dash back,c.fp but you have to cancel the dash.

sentinel is godly, heh heh. anyway, toking about unblockable, sentinel has 1. and that is when people jump, u do a c.hp, when beam is max and the character who jumped came down n touches it, its unblockable. and guard break, sentinel has 3. 1 is by using lk drone and control the drone upwards. another 1 is by using the hk drones. but the safest guard break will be the j.lk. and as for wat jin, dan n stuff being able to beat sentinel, the chances are too low to even counted. lets see, jin trying to get close to sentinel? capcom is out and i dash back c.hp XX drone/rp. jin wans to play turtle? sentinel do it much better then jin. ok, if i dun use any antiair, jin sj, in to get close to me, i can wavedash to another end and play turtle with u. wat can u do? nothing. if im an aggressive sentinel, i can play rush down with u too. 1st think a sentinel can do is c.hk XX flight, lk, mk with assist XX unflight hk, dash back(to avoid your antiair) c.hp XX flight, fly above u stomp stomp assist, go another side and stuff like that. u superjump, i superjump hp. or i can juz stand there wait for u about to came down to start hitting the sentinel, i call out assit and either do drone, launch n combo, or dash back c.hp, and start some chipping.

will not connect,the fly motion takes time to it wont connect. If you do a c.hk XX fly, fp grab,lk,lk,rocket punch.

Or,

c.hk,sj,lk,lp,lk,lp,fly,lk,fp + CapCom assist,rocket punch.

yes, i noe it does not connect. but the thing is to pin down your opponent. not to connect or watever. if u wan to pin down a character, c.hk XX flight, lk, hk with assist. is gd. 1st, it help u to chip your opponent and pin them on the ground, 2nd, there is a chance that your lk hk will hit them and get hit by assist, then u can try to launch and do pain combo. n u dun need to tell me about sentinel combo cuz i have seen alot of them n i know how to do them.
