I assume you are talking about Bishop. I don't know about him. Zero is definately one of the characters that would have to be in it.

Sorry to burst yalls bubble but there will not be a Marvel vs. Capcom3. Reason, because Capcom lost their lisence of Marvel charaters. So capcom is making a new game call Capcom Allstars. I would honsetly like to see a Marvel vs. Capcom three but it looks like it will not be comming out. There is that new x-men fighting game for the x-box and i higly doubt that marvel is going to share there lisence with capom and that other company.

Really? I didn't hear about that. I guess it happened pretty recently if so. I'd hope not though.

yea mvc3 is coming out but not till 2003 and it will be for the arcade first then a couple months later it will be avalible for all systems i believe. Im looking forward to seeing zero from megaman on it plus thor and the human torch. Zero looks tight on the screen shots.

I did hear that Marvel & Capcom were making deals in order to make one more VS. game, however as for it coming out 2003 that will only be overseas the American version could be expected maybe a year or so later. However if it does come out I hope to see vast changes.

*Such as Rouge's kiss grab, instead of simply inheriting a power up she should get one of the characters moves.

*More characters: New and old

*Getting rid of the classic sissy looking Megaman, and getting X and Zero in there

*New Hyper Combos

Well, I've been searching, and here's what I've found. It's looking pretty good.

Marvel vs Capcom 3 is currently under development on the System 246 board in place of the Naomi. Similarly to Marvel vs Capcom 2, MvC3 will be released for the arcade and home console simultaneously. However, MvC3 will be released on the Sony's Playstation 2 this time, and not the Sega DreamCast. Marvel vs Capcom3 will be a minor updated version of Marvel vs Capcom 2 with additional characters. New characters confirmed to be in the game goes as follows:

Capcom side-
Dante (Devil Must Cry), Zero (Rockman series), Nemesis (Biohazard series), Rouge (Power Stone series)

Marvel side-
Bishop (Xmen), GhostRider (Ghost Rider), Thor (The Mighty Thor), Jubilee (Xmen)

In addition, Sagat, Blanka (both Street Fighter Alpha graphics), Abyss (first stage type) and Onslaught (first stage type, redrawn) are scheduled to be in the game as well, although possibly not by default selection. All characters from Marvel vs Capcom 2 are scheduled to return in Marvel vs Capcom 3.

While the game system will mostly stay intact, some additional changes will be included. A new system "Guardian Burst" allows a player to guard counter with an assist character's super. At the current time, the Guardian Burst requires two stocks of power, but can be continued onto a Delayed Hyper Combo. There are also minor changes in normal assists; both assist characters in a team can now be called out simultaneously. However, assist calls now require some power meter as well. (Note: Details may be subject to change in the product version.)

No Carnage and/or Scarlet Spider, but hopefully they will be adding them in. Phoenix would be great too, even as a boss.

hmm...it say's that Onslaught and Abyss will only be present in their first forms, leaving the role for 'Final Boss' open.


i hope it will be Galactus, or at least a more powerful form of Apocalypse.

i'd also like to see X-Man join the fray. it's good news to hear that Bishop will be joining the Marvel team

Capcom finally leaked information on the fourh confirmed character, although I wasn't able to catch his name anyone who loves the Dark Stalker series knows who I'm talking about... The only way to describe him is a blue/white were-wolf. When I saw the simple graphic sketches I recognized him from a Dark Stalker game I had rented.

Marvel on the other hand isn't talking, they did however have concept-art of Carnage(Spider-Man),Dead-Pool (X-Factor,Dead-Pool),Spider-Man,however ditching his old threads and adopting the "New Spiderman" costume(The one with the giant spider emblem stretching across his chest)Not to mention sporting a brand new hyper combo move aside from his old ones.
This comes as very good news, as Marvel & Capcom will both be releasing some of the chosen characters.

lmao, I guess you just found the same site I did, because that's the exact information I posted and those are the two pictures I saw. I didn't hear anything what that other person said though, about Deadpool, Carnage, and Spider-Man in the newer costume.
