Alot of this seems speculative and in trust of third party websites as opposed to Capcoms official website. Which is why I think this is bullshit, seeing I saw those screenshots back in April.

If it is true, (which I doubt), why do the new characters sound like they were simply thought up instead of developed for a fighting game? ie, Bishop on the Marvel side: his moves would almost completely identical to Cable's. I'm sure that half-way through his development, Capcom would have realized this and nixed him, not kept him in. This game's authenticity is phony until proven real.

What you say about Bishop maybe true, that his moves would be identicle to Cable's, but look at some of the other characters from MvC2. Iron Man & W. Machine.
These characters have the same if not similar Hyper combos and normal moves. Ryu,Ken,Dan,&Akuma all these characters have basically the same moves with the exception of Dan. In X-men Vs. S.F. if you did a double with Ryu and Ken they would both do the Shinku Hadou-Ken,right? Well once MSHvsSF came out the programmers of the game caught on and changed it. Ken and Akuma both have the exact same super the spinning uppercut. The only differences are the characters animation. Although most people would argue the reason that Akuma,Ken,and Ryu all have the same moves is because they all have the same fighting style, which is a good point. However I can justify what I say by revealing the tie between Venom & Sabertooth. Very few people actually take this to thought but have you ever actually compared Venom & ST the only difference is some of their moves and the way they look. Take their normal standing stance both bob their upper bodies up and down while opening their mouths. Bothe seem to slouch forward. Even their air-grabs are the same (Most people think it's kinda wierd that I know this stuff but what they don't understand is that my Dad's old high school buddy works for Capcom U.S.A. so I was priveledged to some of this information) Their is still hope for MvC3, Bishop may have similar moves to Cable but that doesn't mean he would cut from the line-up.They make characters like this so that Animators don't have to come up with new moves and stances for every single character. (Now that that's said I think I'll be quiet)

i highly doubt this game for one reason. correct me if i'm wrong but didn't capcom lose rights to marvel? other wise we would've seen this game alot sooner

Sorry there is not marvel vs capcom 3 guys those screen shots were an April fools joke. Marvel and capcom broke their contract and marvel hooked up with activision to make those xmen games.

READ THIS! Marvel vs Capcom 3 is fake. It was an april fool's joke. Don't believe what everyone is saying. It is a lie. The picture was fake. They used computer images to make that. Too bad though. Would of been a good game.

The last time I heard that MvC3 was coming out it was a April Fools joke and screen shots looked very real but it was computer generated. And it is impossible cause Snk Vs Cap already came out and part 2. So I doubt it. Sorry for those who are going to belive it really is going to happen but it's a long shot. And if they do come out with it the only thing new is the characters. If anything else is different like changing it to look like alpha or Snk then I ain't playing it for shit. MvC2 is original and can't ever be changed, only can be changed for characters.

well you really can't say that mvc3 is true because wit me i have to see pics before i can its real. if they do make mvc3 fo da game cube they can atleast make a controler sutable for it like the arcade controler fo mvc2.
