And what ticks me off even more is the fact that people who use them say "O I'm not cheap". These kind of people shouldn't even bother playing. Characters such as...

*Dr. Doom
*Cable
*Sentinel (Anyone who uses Sentinel must really suck)
*Spiral
*Black heart (especially on anti-air)

^ These characters are the cheapest of all

The strategy people tend to use with these guys is "professionally"(And I use that term loosely)called keep-away. However I like to call it by "Cheap-Shooting"

The Art of "Cheap-Shooting" explained: {Basic definition}
keeping the opponent so busy blocking that you basically just chip damage them to death.

At the arcade in which I go to this kind of play is supremely gone un-forgiven. If someone begins by cheaping me (in which does nothing but piss me off) I respond with cheap things from my team such as Iron Man's infinite. It all depends on how you play with the character in which determines whether you are cheap or not.

1st of all i totally disagree wat u have said as there is nothing known as cheap.its juz the matter of how u play n how skillful u r to counter back ur opponent.
for example:

doc doom: most people play keep-away with him by super jumping n do photon spraying(the pink laser).u can counter back by playing rush down.as most people will be very uncomfortable to fight in close combat since they play keep-away.

cable: people always do a jump heavy punch then grenade or viper beam untill they charage up the super bar.but u can oso counter them by getting near them,kick their ass or by doing a baiting skill.u can oso see n predict their next move n counter it by doing super or simply get near it n do watever u want.

sentinel: when people play keep-away game using him,i think u muz really thank the god as he is 1 character that should abuse his flight n get near u n do nasty thing on u but not juz play a keep-away. he is a very big size character so he should not be on ground too often.he is slow when on ground.if u know how to use a very good magneto, then u should owns him as magneto is too fast for him.

spiral: when people play her, u will very common see her with assist of either sentinel or sabertooth. spiral alone cannot do alot of shit to u so y not try to kill her assist?she has limited move n combo,she is slow n her defence is not that good too. so kill her assist and u should not get too much problem fighting her.

blackheart: he is very tall,slow on ground,limited moves n combo. the onli thing he is gd at is his super jumping heavy kick demons airdash heavy kick demons again. so i don't really see any thing difficult to beat him. his anti-air thing has got really long lagging time so u should block it n do a super at him to finish him off. u can use beam characters like cable,spiral,doc doom, etc. especially doc doom he owns blackheart. juz use doc doom, super jump heavy punch laser n do alot of the photon spraying thing to pin blackheart down n u should have no difficulty beating him.

so after all its not cheap but juz the style of playing. n u said that people who play keep-away n says "O im not gd" does not deserves to even bother play with him. i think u r wrong to say that as they know that there is way to beat that group n people who r more skillful than them. that is y they say they r not gd.if u think that wat i say is wrong n they r being cheap,this means that u r "skilless" n sore loser. don't take it too hard though n i dun mean it. if i have offended u, pls forgive.

I think your confusing cheap with strategy. My best team is Cable, Blackheart Sentinal. When I play againts people against people who know exactly what they are doing I have to use strategy. And to say Sentinal is cheap, I would like to see you combo into unfly mode with no assist. It take a lot of practice to be "Cheap", or have strategy, no noob can do the iron man or magneto inf.

thing is, it's the TEAMS here, that are cheap. not individual characters

Try a Cable (or spiral), Dr. Doom, and Jin.

Cable can infinitely hide behind Dr. Doom's anti-air assist, and plink away at you with viper beam or a simple heavy punch (his pistol shot) from behind the spirialing rocks.

Jin is the same damned way. Dr. Doom is his best friend. He can just be called in for his assist, while Jin does his jumping low roundhouse (the 45 degree angle Drill). The rocks keep the opponent in block, and jin can just keep jumping and drilling to his hearts content.

Thirdly, using cable, if anyone even gets remotely close, jin can be called into his anti-air assist (Dynamite) and straight out of that, cable can do his hyper viper beam for *bleep* amounts of damage.

That's cheap: relying on chipping damage to kill an opponent slow and painful.

Spirial is just as horrible. she can do that sword thing from behind the cozy swirling rocks of Doom, while she jumps and does her sword toss. Three thrown on the way up, and the other three on the way down (Dr. Doom's assist here) Create swords again and throw. etc.

Magneto, Cable and sumtine Sentinel or Iron Man

poeple say im cheap since i use magneto!! its just that i am good doing alot of hits!! i can do so much damage that people just walk away after i kill there first guy! ..although he didnt touch me...i think, if you wanna play with an EXPERT like me! then you should be aware that you are going ot die! i have been in many MvC tournaments! and the closest i got was 2nd place, but i did my tricks, but the guy still beat me! see? there are always ways to make a comeback!

There is no such thing as cheap. You just think it's cheap because you don't have a team that you can play that can counteract the other person's team.

The only thing that I consider cheap is doing an infinite combo... yes, I admit, it requires skill, but there's no fun in killing someone without a *good* fight.

i disagree on your cheapest people

1. replace spiral with Mega man. MM has easy to use combos and you can beat the game with him alone. just keep firing and the comp keeps blocking. plus his assist is annoying as hell and has major ups to it.
2. Blackheart w/ iron man. come one all this guy is doing huge beam attacks. and if you get he'll use the (these will be horribly wrong "dramoga blast" or "smart bomb" attacks
3. Also Cyclops, war machine, and gambit are cheap keep away people. Gambit has that really annoying gambit card attack and special. Cyclops and war machine just keeps on shooting

4. Wolverine 1 and 2 are also majorly cheap, they're get in your face, good damage, easy and major combo people. Hyato works the same.

I think I've let this get out of control... In what way would you find Hayato cheap? I've stated this before any character can be cheap/cheesy (or the non-offending way of saying it "keep away") whatever you wanna call it. It all depends on the person that uses the character. The whole mega-man being cheap bit isn't that big of a deal since mega-man has the worst defense aside from about 3 other characters people often use the keep away game this causes the opponent to get upset, make mistakes ,and hurl acusations at you. Characters like these are often only used for about two things. Keeping you so busy blocking they just chip you to death or abusing that characters assist. Example Cable and Cap.C. neither of these characters actually win the match on their own they are often used for their supers and assists and nothing else. Cable's anti-air attack or his five Hyper-Viper beams.

Sentinel another chipper simply uses the three same moves over and over(Standing hp,hp rocket-punch,hper sentinel force)or resorts to using his infinite.

Magneto can be cheap depending on the player most people use magnus for rush-down purposes but I've seen keep-away with him too

Rouge kiss grab combined with speed equalls semi-infinite Psylock's anti-air assist can be annoying but no where near as annoying as Cable or Cap.Cammando at least she serves a purpose in setting people up for an air combo

Iron Man has a lot of beams two infinites nuff said

Spiral in conjuntion with Sentinel can be the most pathetic sight you've ever seen. with Spiral jump back hit assist button whichever is sentinel, summon swords throw 3 on ground three in air and congratulations you've learned Spiral's purpose of existence. I realize some people can use her with Gambit in a triple but this is how most people use her.

NOw this is the part thats gonna make people mad. Here we go... Most if not everything listed above is cheap,if you do these things guess what? Yeah... your cheap no ifs ands or buts. Sure you can sweeten it up all you want by calling it "keep-away" go ahead truth is people call it that as to not be offended. There's not a person I know who uses this strategy and denies being cheap. Because they know it's cheap. If you acuse someone of this they just pretend like they didn't hear you and then ignore you. I wouldn't say anything either, what could you say "No I'm not Cheap" when you know damn well that all your doing is taken the easy way out instead of taking the time to actually learn a characters true potential in the game.

Hey nothing is cheap, I think if ur a good marvel player, then u should be able to get away from these "cheap" combos. I can get away from sentinel's gay rocket punch combos, use fast ppl, and keep attacking him. If his assist type is cheap pull a hyper to both of them. Then when he's running to heal, do an all out attack, when he switches character knock him back in. Come on now, think ppl. Think.

Cable and Sentinal are the cheapest characters in the game.
Dr. Doom's not as cheap but more like a counter to that cable/sentinal crap(stronger version of Iceman.) So far, I've seen 2 different people using the same team of Cable/Juggernaut/Sentinal and the same strategy of having Cable run away throwing out grenades, then calling out Juggernaut, then doing Hyperviper beam. They beat me, and in fact I didn't see them lose to any other players, but that didn't mean that that's the best team. I tried that crap a couple weeks after in the arcade trying to do the Sentinal/Blackheart trap, and it wasn't even good enough to stop the other guy's 8 win winning streak. And all he was was Jill, Captain Commando, and Venom.

One more thing, I remember that one guy was beating my regular team (Guile/Jill/Psylocke) with Sentinal, but then I finally stopped his ass with Juggernaut, Captain America, and Ken. So regular characters with not long ass air combos but at least stronger than Wolverine is enough to put that big bastard Sentinal down.

There is no such thing as cheeze or cheap cause you allways can get out of them. It's the lack of skill. All it takes is one mistake to lose. and it can start at the very begining of a game. If you don't block and your opponent is a very experienced person then you are dead. One mistrake can lead you to be caught in an infinte, which is very irritating but skill full.
