Yes. THAT is why prepromotes are bad. Not because they turn out horrible, even though some do, but because they take precious EXP away from unpremoted units. Later on in the game, they become usable (Tanith, Tauroneo), but early on you really should refrain from using them. For Titania to get that insane number of kills, she would've taken an incredible amount of EXP away from units who could've put it to good use. I'd like to know when Jerido started promoting most of his units, cause it was probably later than normal.

You got it right. Jeigan was a horrible prepromote from (I forget which game), and Oifey was a decent prepromote from FE4. Titania, Seth, and Marcus are generally referred to as 'Jeigans' because you start the game with them, as you did with the actual Jeigan.

Seth would be an Oifey if he had a better speed growth. Alas, all that really matters in FE8 are stat caps, seeing as how you can abuse the tower and ruins for cash, and secret shops for stat growth items.

Oh, and the actual Oifey had a hp growth of 100%, IIRC. That may give you an insight on what separated Oifey from Jeigan(and jeigans).

Although S-ranking HHM w/o Marcus is near impossible, so shout out to all my Jeigans.

I used her a ton in the first part of the game, then I realized how many people are turing out better than her, so I stopped using her so much. I have no idea how she got so high. No, I'm not using her anymore. I don't really like Oscar though. Who ends up being the best paladin in the game?

Makalov is acutally very good. After swearing I would never use him I used him and he turned out very good indeed.

Yeah Makalov is pretty awsome, regardless of swordness. He's still a pain in the ass to train up.

My top 5 the 2nd time through are:
1- Soren, 117 wins
2- Mordecia
3- Tormod
4- Ilyana
5- Ike

Soren could have had more but he was so far ahead of eveyone else that I stopped using him for a while. Elincia had 22(she got almost 15 kills in the last level, and not by taking someone elses, she got them herself) Ike only got there because of the last level and I couldn't catch the amount of wins for the others.

Yea, I always use my magic users. Unless they suck, like Bastion and Callil. I used them both the 1st time through and hated them. It took too long for Rhys to get to bishop so he didn't get many kills and I didn't use Mist.

The 1st time through it was:
1- Titania, 152 wins
2- Soren
3- Oscar
4- Ike
5- Seffan

I don't know what I was thinking, using Titania was a mistake.

How do you check when you're in the middle of a playthrough?

I just beat it for the second time. I have better stats this time.
