Alright, i started a new file and i haven't played it in a while so i just forgot how to get the seed maker. I remember you could only get it in summer year 1 but not much else.

I think all you do is put two different seeds in it and in a few days it turns into a hybrid of the two. But I am not compleatly positive.

There are 2 ways to get a seed maker.

1. (The way I use) Befriend Daryl and don't talk to Takakura until you get the seedmaker from Daryl. I start giving Daryl a fish and an egg daily as soon as I possibly can (I buy a hen on Day 1 and as soon as she lays, Daryl gets the egg). I generally get the seedmaker from him between Spring 9 and Summer 2. But if Takakura offers it first then Daryl never gives it to you, so I just don't talk to him.

2. Talk to Takakura and he will offer it around summer or so. Then order it the same place you order your other buildings.

I think ordering the seedmaker costs about 5000 g (but I could be wrong as I haven't done it this way in 2 or 3 years real time). But if you get it from Daryl it only costs the potential income from the fish and eggs (I figured one time it's about 2000 g total, but the type of fish makes this vary greatly. Snelts and other cheap fish work just as quickly as expensive ones)
