I know some people here still play Sonic 1 and 2 but how about this one? I used to play it but I don't own it. Should I order this game from EBay or wait until Sonic Mega Collection Plus is out on Playstation 2?

It's a good game, and really comes alive when you connect it to Sonic & Knuckles, so if you're going to pick it up, I recommend you get Sonic & Knuckles too, as it's basically the 2nd part of Sonic 3.
As for me I don't play this game for the simple reason that it's the one Sonic game I'm missing from my Mega Drive collection, gonna have to pick me up a copy one of these days. ------------------- | |

Hmmm, well do you already have the other games on the Sonic Mega Collection? What games are on that anyway?
 I mean, if you're only missing Sonic 3 and Sonic & Knuckles then it might not be worth playing out 30 odd quid just to get the pack on PS2 when you can get it cheaper on Mega Drive.------------------- | |

I don't have the Sonic Mega Collection as I don't have a GameCube but soon I'll rent a GameCube and the Sonic Mega Collection.

I play this game all the time, but usually when it's connected to Sonic & Knuckles. Mainly because I love to go through the game and see how fast I get all 14 of the emeralds. I also think it has the best Super Sonic level ever put in a sonic game.

I play it on the Mega Collecion thing... I play Sonic 2 more often though.

I only play this game when connected with Sonic and Knuckles. It's infinitely better that way because you get more options, the ability to play as Sonic and Tails, Sonic, Tails or Knuckles. Plus Hyper Sonic, Super Tails and Super Knuckles just rock.
