Now you collect all that 7 Chaos Emerald and if you collect that all the 7 Chaos Emerald and you must collect6 the 50 Ring or more that press Jump and Jump button again that is your Sonic transformed to Super Soninc and that is Super Saiyan 3 Sonic. | |

That's common knowledge. Also, since Sonic's not a saiyan, he can't turn super saiyan. It's just Super Sonic. (Or Hyper Sonic if you get all 7 of the Super Emeralds) -------------------

Actally he's got a point though. The whole Super Saiyan theme is where The Sonic Team got the Super Sonic idea from. But it's not Super Saiyan 3 though... | |

No, DBZ was around way before Sonic. Sonic 1 came out in 1991, as DBZ first aired in April of 1989. Now, Sonic 2 came out in 1992, which gave just under 3 years for DBZ to introduce Super Saiyans. Plenty of time. I think it's very possible that Super Sonic is based off of Super Saiyan. -------------------

I think it was based off Super Saiyan as well but since I was only about 7 at the time I can't remember the exact times when Sonic 2 and the Frieza saga (where Goku turns SSJ for the first time) first came out. ------------------- | |

Super Sonic was meant as a homage to the ssj of DBZ. The creator of sonic (forgot his name dont shoot me!!!!!!!!) was a big dbz fan. | |
