So i broke out the megadrive today for a bit of retro fun, only to realise that despite the fact that i am now about five times the age i was, i am still completely inept when it comes to completing level four. if anyone can tell me how to get past that barrel thing where tails has to jump on it and sonic goes underneath i would greatly appreciate it. i can never get it to go high enough. seriously this has plagued me for year, puhlease put me out of my misery.

Have Sonic jump on it, then press up, then down over and over. (up when it's down, and down while it's up.) This will get it to go further each time. Once you think it's high enough, jump off and run under it.
