Sometimes I do, because it's kind of embrassing to play a portable game in public, especially if you're a teenager. I play it when there's nothing to do, or when I'm bored. Another reason why I don't play it sometimes is because people steal.

I hate playing it at school, 'cos everyone crowds round and says "can i have a go?" over and over. Very irritating.

One time when i played my GBA at the buss an old woman came and started yelling at me. She said that the GBA was Saitans own invention and that I have sinned. she allso told me that the Messiah would kill me so now ive stopped playing ... I had no Idea that the GBA was satans invention and that i have sinned God spare my life!

I am 15 and i don't really play my GBA in public because of what Wavebird said, it repels girls a bit. I play at home when there is nothing to do or on car journeys but never in public or at school.

Only place I ever play mine is at my house. There are alot of people who steal at my school, so I don't dare to bring it there. I will not play there also because what Octarine Skye said. Everyone says "Let me play!" and if you don't let them they hate you. I just play it at my house and my friends house. No need to take it out in public.

I play my GBA in public. How would it be something to be ashamed of? A lot of people are into the portable factor of the system, and think it looks cool. Not to mention, even most older teenagers love video games. Just because you are getting older, doesn't mean you look more childish to others because you carry games around. Even if people thought this, who cares? It's what you think that matters, not what they think.

Well i never take mine out of the house intyo public much anyway. Some people like them, especially older teens because they are portable video games. I just don't think it looks good you in public sitting there playing a gae, dunno why. Plus i like the comfort of my own leather couch .

It doesn't bother me either way. The only place I really take them with me outside of the house, is on car trips or while waiting in the waiting room on a trip to the doctor. Otherwise, I stick with my couch as well.

I sometimes play mine in public, but only when I am really bored:D. But there is no point in having a portable console if you so not use it on the move.

I play the GBA whenever I remember to take it along... but never at school though, me paranoid of the teachers...

I hardly ever play my GBA outsude. Instead, I pretty much defeat the entire concept by hooking it up to the mains and playing there - I got it for the good games and the comfort.

There are times when I have a one minute Doom game in my college, but only when I'm pretending to find work in my bag. Taking it out into public places will just get it stolen, and playing it in school will just get loads of people trying to play it, resulting in it getting lost. I'll admit that car and long train journeys are cut short by a bit of Castlevania. But I play the majoroty of my GBA inside with glorious artificial light.


EDIT: And what's all this 'repelling you from girls' Malarky? I got my girlfriend hooked on Mariokart for a while . We're 16, but you're never too old for such a classic.

I always wondered why that was. Sure it may be stereotypical, but out of all of my female friends, I don't think any enjoy video games. I just never understood...
