As you might know, Hideo Kojima is the creator of the very popular series Metal Gear Solid. Now he's bringing a game to Nintendo's portable machine, Game Boy Advance. But the game has nothing to do with Metal Gear Solid, it's a sequal to a RPG serie that's only been released in Japan. The thing that makes this game different from every other game is that it will use solar power, the more light on your cartridge the more powerfull your character will be. It might be hard for GBA SP gamers to play this game since the cartridge turns down but then again, you could always place a mirror under the system. Even though it hasn't been announced that the game will be released further than Japan it's very likely that it will since Konami has been sending pics of it to various GBA sites.

Yes guys, in an interview with Miyamoto on IGN.com, Miyamoto admitted that the next Game Boy is already under way. This does not mean that it will be released soon, because GameCube's sequal is also under way and is aimed to 2005 release.

Now, I'm hoping that the next Game Boy will feature better graphics than the N64 did although I don't think it will match up to PS2's graphics. We'll bring news on the coming system as soon as news arrive.

Nintendo Partners with ATI
The two companies enter another hardware agreement. The next Game Boy, perhaps?
March 04, 2003 - Graphics chipmaker ATI Technologies today announced that it has entered a "technology development agreement" with Nintendo Co. Ltd. for use in unspecified Nintendo products.
"ATI has had an excellent relationship with Nintendo for many years," said David Orton, President and Chief Operating Officer, ATI Technologies Inc. "We are pleased to enter into this major technology development agreement with Nintendo."
ATI in 2000 acquired ArtX, which designed the graphics chipset (codenamed "Flipper") for GameCube. ATI also designs the Radeon PC graphics card series, which ranks in the top tier in terms of power and performance in today's PC games.
While it is almost certain that the company's latest partnership with Nintendo is to create the graphics chipset for the successor to GameCube, it's not unheard of that this partnership may be for the Game Boy Advance successor. Nintendo has already stated officially that one is in development.

Miyamoto then went on to tell of his desire to bring the old Star Fox 2 to Game Boy Advance, a game which never made it to shelves. A SNES version was started way back when, but was never completed, and Miyamoto thinks that the GBA is the perfect way to bring back Fox McCloud and buddies.

Nintendo still haven't released any information regarding the previously announced Donkey Kong Country, so recently I've been doing a little digging for information surrounding the title. All I've found is the provisional box art, which features similar artwork (although the characters are in a different position) to the SNES game of the same name. The cover also features the Rare logo, so it's looking extremely likely that the game will be a port of the original (which was also released on the Game Boy Color a couple of years ago). I repeat, Nintendo haven't confirmed any of this, so it is purely speculation. Check back soon for some more solid information!
