Nintendo has recently announced that they will be releasing Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire Super Paks, which will contain a limited edition Pokemon SP, a Pokemon GBA SP case, and a copy of the game. There will be seperate paks for each game. The Pokemon Super Paks are expected to be released sometime in late November in the US and Europe. Satoru Iwata, has made a brilliant speech revealing a GBA Accessory.


Current President of Nintendo made a speech at TGS (Tokyo Game Show), announcing that Wireless Multiplayer Gaming is coming soon to the Nintendo GameBoy Advance. The Device is to be bundled with Highly Anticapated Titles, Pokemon Fire Red and Pokemon Leaf Green, which are scheduled for release Early 2004. The device will allow upto five gamers to access multiplayer gaming, from even a few meters apart.

The Gameboy Advance is the hottest selling product in entertainment.


Hollywood studios are banking in big time with movies like Lord of the Rings: Return of the King and The Last Samurai, which are expected to be huge. But no movie -- or movie studio -- will macth the might of the Nintendo Game Boy Advanced! That's right, you are reading this right, Nintendo's little machine, is now the little machine that could! Nintendo's profits are ranking above $1.5 Billion American dollars. That is including GBA consoles and games. George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications, even goes on to say "Game Boy Advance is the envy of the entertainment world,", and he says "Not only does our 'studio' boast a library of more than 550 titles, but these hits get played over and over again." Game Boy games drive hardware sales up, games like Donkey Kong and Final Fantasy, and many more have aided in this recent success. Also, if you would like to see how much the GBA has sold incomparareson with this year, last year the GBA sold 7 million units. Now the little machine that could has sold nearly 9 million, and Nokia thinks they can take Nintendo down? That's funny! They should think again.

Despite the economy, and the state its in, the GBA have sold off the shelves, and much thanks goes to the new Game Boy Advanced SP released in March. The GBA and the GCN are the only consoles that have shown a increase in system sales compared with 2002. Nintendo sold 400,000 units in October alone, and that's 100,000 units more the any other console!

And people thought Nintendo would go the way of Sega? Heh, Nintendo is way to powerful to back out now, and even though they need to work out their home console market, the handheld market alone could keep Nintendo going for a long while. So, again, it looks like Nintendo's future is brighter then it seems!

According to the company, hardware and games for the Game Boy Advance are projected to exceed $1.5 billion in revenue in the United States. Nintendo notes that this is a sales figure beyond the domestic estimates for any Hollywood studio.

"Game Boy Advance is the envy of the entertainment world," says George Harrison, Nintendo of America's senior vice president of marketing and corporate communications. "Not only does our 'studio' boast a library of more than 550 titles, but these hits get played over and over again."
In 2002, about 7 million Game Boy Advance units were sold in the United States. This year, it is expected to reach nearly 9 million. Sales of Game Boy Advance have flourished, thanks in part to the March release of Game Boy Advance SP as well as the new casings of Flame (red) and Onyx (black) six months later. The Game Boy Advance and the Nintendo GameCube, according to Nintendo, are the only game systems to show an increase in systems sold compared with 2002 numbers.

The company revealed that it sold more than 400,000 Game Boy Advance systems in October alone, 100,000 more than any other game system. When the Game Boy Advance is ranked alongside the three home consoles, it grabs a commanding share of the market with 38 percent.

"The Game Boy will sell out this Christmas," says Michael Pachter, vice president of research at Wedbush Morgan Securities in Los Angeles.

According to MCV UK, Nintendo is set to hold a major press conference sometime in December, with the Next-Gen of their home console and handheld to be at the top of the discussion list. We'll definately keep you posted as this story emerges.

NPD has released the latest sales figures for the month of November. The GameCube hardware unit sales have skyrocketed due to a recent price drop. The console sold over 754,000 units in the month of November. The sales still didn't manage to topple the Playstation 2 with 849,000 being sold but it heavily surpassed the Xbox which sold 491,000 units. The GBA still outsold them all with 1.3 million units off the shelves.

On the software side we saw Mario Kart: Double Dash!! out selling Final Fantasy X2 and Medal of Honour: Frontline with 527,742 copies shifting after just two weeks of release. Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 also made the top ten with 327,217 being sold
