I have a question. I can't play Chao Adventure 2, but I still want a Devil Chao. I saw o the F.A.Q. that it can be done without playing CA2. My chao is in the dark garden, is on its third life, has only been touched by Dark characters since it was an egg, is as dark as possible, and has been given one of every animal. Here is what I want to know.

Can I give it anymore Animals and Drives? If I can't, how is it going to evlove?

If I can, should I just have it not be a specific type of chao?(running...flying)

Can it really be done without playing CA2?

1) You can give it up to 200 drives and 64 animals

2) If you wanto control what your chao evoles into, then feed it certain things.

3) Using the choa editor (also VMU based) you can get the Devil Chao.

I saw that one dudes faq that tells how to get those devil, angel, and light chao thingys. Is it really possible to get those and does anybody have one??? What do they look like? Do they have really good stats? ANDD do chao have to evolve twice before they dye? because ive had my dark chao (which Im trying to make shadow chao and hes at speed-722)forever and hes still alive and I dont want to beat him till hes dead or he wont be reborn even though on the VMU i said i wanted eternal life but that probably doesnt matter. ANYWAY please reply to this so I can get some help on getting a DEVIL CHOA.

How long does it take for the Chao to die?!?!? Ive had mine forever and he is still not dead... do they have to have been through their second evolution before they die or what !!! Would it be okay for me to beet my chao until it dies because I asked for eternal life (or is that just a little part of the Chao Adventure 2) ANYWAY i just want to know these things because I want a DEVIL CHAO and my --------hopefully soon to be a shadow chao-- is still not evolved into a full fleged shadow chao (which he hasnt even shown signs of turning into even though his run is like 724)

It matters on the health of the chao. It'll go quicker if you leave a character in the chao garden and do something else. Come back in a couple hours and they should be dead.

In an effort to help those who aren't able to play Chao Adventue 2, I am posting the requirements for special chao.

We already know about the whole 3rd life thing, and all the animals, but here are the other details. These are examples of how I did it.

Devil Chao: From an egg, only touch it with dark characters, raise it in dark garden, give it all 21 animals, then give it 300 chaos drives, making sure to keep it normal.

Angel Chao: From an egg, only touch it with hero characters, raise it in hero garden, give it all 21 animals, then give it 370 chaos drives, making sure to keep it normal.

Light Chao: Haven't done this one yet, but it should follow the same pattern, except for requiring about 400-500 drives, and making sure it's both normal AND neutral.

I got the chao editor 2 thing and found out I cant put it on the daycare, does anyone know how to turn off the thing that puts a tag on the chao??? Also, does anyone on this message board have any chao on the daycare that they've uploaded? If so tell me what your name is on the daycare and the name of the chaos and pass to email if there is one. I think it'd be kool if you could make your chao look like a munky,errr... monkey.

I just have sa2 and not sa1 so I'm kinda new to this whole chao thing. How do you get your chao to evolve and how do you get it to channge types and what are the combos of Chaos drives and animals for ?????? Pls help me.
I only have one garden and two chaos the only one name is Durst (fred durst) anyway Pls I need answers cuz I love my chao ever so much but cant do S@#! with him besides teach him and pet him cuz I dont know what to do ??????/

I am slowly learning more and more about chao I just unlocked both gardens and have a healthy devil and angel chao. All I want to know so I dont have to search through the chao faq is what do the chaos drives do I mean specifically.
I know Green = speed but what do the others mean ?
also some good combos of chaos drives and animals for the ultimate chao would be good thanx!!!!!

Green = Running (you know that)
Red = Power
Purple = Flying
Yellow = Swimming

strange chao behavior: one day i was just feeling mean so i restarted a game and went to chao garden where i hatched the eggs and beat the crap out of the chao! after brutally punishing them i noticed that one sat on the ground and started to rotate his head and his eyes were twirly, then he held his head and shook it back and forth, then he cried... i wish you could drown you chao like in sa1

OMG LOL! thats funny as crap. Since when could u drown the chao? thats a new one. Also i tried signing onto the sega.net with the dreamcast and it keeps saying wrong user name/pwd or some crap like that.. need help =\ can someone AIM me at Thor32385 and hook me up =]

I didnt get to read my last post in time before it was deleted so i guess i gotta repost =\ the question was that i copied over a silver and gold chao from Sonic 1 to Sonic 2. The color of the 2 chao went back to normal (blue and white) after i left the garden, is there a way to get the color back?

MoonDragon: You have to bring the egg into the SA2 Chao Garden. A hatched chao has started it's A-Life. And since the two games have two different systems, hatched chao don't get along in the other game.

Basically it means: A hatched chao won't do what you intended it to do. You can download a special SA2 version of the gold/silver/black chaos from the SA2 Black Market.
