i brought a gold egg from sa1 into the sa2 garden and it was a normal chao! exept its name was some kind of japanese charector

Weird... the best bet is to trade 5-15 emblems for an official SA2 Gold/Silver/Black chao. That way they're bound to keep their color unless they change Hero/Dark.

I brought in a gold and silver chao from SA1 to SA2 as the egg, i didnt hatch it in SA1 then put in VMU and such, and when i hatched the egg it was a normal chao, the thing was when it hatched, the entire friggen chao was like, broken off into segmants and there were HUGE blue blocks around it that literally took up almost the entire garden when i put the camera in a certain angel around the chao....

wow, thats crazy. and: when you get a gold or silver chao, if they evolv into a hero or dark chao, do they change their color?

well i hate to admit it but chaobeater was right, just as when they like you they follow you, if the chao are scared of you fro many many beatings, they screamand run away in terror. its actually fun to see it happening

I've seen it 4 different times, and I think with 4 different chao. I can never tell. The little bastards all look the same to me. Prolly cause I don't feed them or give them animals or drives. Get this...THEY STILL MATE. Alot of them were in daycare for a long time, so they have alot of skills to keep them busy and happy, so I have to constantly beat them to make sure that they don't mate.

im not sure if this works on sonic adventure 2 but if you win a lifenut in the chao adventure and take it to your garden and give it to a chao the will be ready to MATE INSTENTLY but im not sure if it works though.

Okay, neither my Angel nor my Devil chao are mating. I've had them for a very long time, yet they don't go into mating season, and they don't mate with any other chao that are in mating season. I had them both in the normal garden with all of my adult chao. Might that be the problem?

Anyone know where to get a complete animal locations guide, the one thats been made on here isnt complete, and how do u get a half fish with Rogue in Egg Quarters, the damn thing is in a cage =\
