Well the first thing to do first is prepare to be scared...
 After that just get used to the control system as at times it can can get tricky. And dont be afraid of the monsters.. Then explore the town, taking in the scenery as its awsome...then go to the first place it tells you to go to.... | |

A trick to remember (I assume it works in SH 2 - it worked in the first game) is that in dark places, monsters can't see you if you have your light source turned off. You aren't getting a bounty for each kill so conserve ammo and evade when possible.

dont try and defeat every monster i just killed the 1 @the first part....
i had to change the walking to 2d turn off the light and tell everyone to leave when playing xD  ------------------- rated FG FEMALE GAMER MAY CAUSE FASCINATION, A STATE OF DESIRE, AND ABNORMAL AND EMOTIONAL EXCITMENT. NOW GET YOUR HANDS OUT OF YOUR PANTS AND BACK ON THE CONTROLLER! NO I WILL NOT SLEEP WITH YOU. (demonator is always one step ahead )
