Nvidia antics.....more.... |

Nvidia is up to their usual shenanigans bribing developers but this is just a little too far even for them. Blatently lying to their customers... #1 big nono in business. I can understand why they would do it but they still have a very firm hold on the graphics card market. What do you guys think?

This is old news.
The card in the guys hand was a fake, but the results were real. I honestly don't care all that much.

same here. this just looks like a tactic to make people 'awww' in impression, then that would make them say to themselves with their next computer build that theyre going to wait for the card to come out first. basically a delay tactic to try to get more customers IMO. still, as long as the card works and there are no issues, why should people really have a problem?

I'm not too hard on Nvidia for this. You have to think that they planned this event for at least 8 months -- probably more like 14-19 months in advance. They expected to have the card ready to go by then, but there is always stuff that can go wrong (in any industry). They said that they had the working GT300 going for the live demos, and that the card was on display was only a sort of uhh... demo model, like a prototype car at a car show. I personally think they are a bit behind on the schedule for Fermi but they nonetheless are being sincere with what they are saying about it.
