I prefer Perfect Dark over Goldeneye. I like being able to somewhat customize your character in multiplayer by swapping heads and bodies. There was one thing that I liked from Goldeneye that did not return in Perfect Dark, but I'll be damned if I can remember what it was.

Perfect Dark is a lot more fun. Only problem I had was with 8 bots the game seemed to lag. -------------------

Goldeneye was better IMO. Perfect Dark had some excellent ideas but the N64 just couldn't handle the level of graphics output. Stills of the game look great but once you start moving, the frame rate and lag are absolutely atrocious. It seems to take about a half second for the game to react to whatever you do, and when Joanna finally gets into gear it's as if she exists only to bait epileptics with her stuttering frame update, making difficult or complicated sections of the game a nightmare. Killed the game for me very quickly. I did 00 mode on Goldeneye but I never even finished PD on the easiest level. ------------------- Don't try that shit at home #26:

I don't have Goldeneye but the I liked the parts of Perfect Dark I played. However, the games do show their age now. -------------------

They were both awesome,I think I enjoyed Perfect Dark more because of the endless fun with the combat simulator and also the vast scenarios you could create. Goldeneye's single player missions were much much better though. -------------------

PD is far superior multiplayer due to customisation of all weapons and game modes etc witht hat said though I think Goldeney maps are better designed. Love it when I get headshots and their head snaps back OUCH. -------------------

If I could I'd choose half-half.I've played Goldeneye since 2003.I just got Perfect Dark and haven't played it much(i'm only on level 3),but its really fun.But I'd probably choose Goldeneye. ------------------- ------------------------ lowgravity .worpress .com.
