It really isn't, but I've actually played FF8 quite a few times back in the day, so I think I'll be able to follow most of the general discussions. So long as my iron memory holds up, that is.

That being said, I probably wouldn't be able to contribute to some of the more advanced topics. I've never even tried beating Omega Weapon without using a bunch of Holy Wars/Heroes...
