Has anyone else read this book. I thought it was an amazing book with alot of meaning loved it.

Damn right. One of my favourite books in a long time. I found it to be very cylindrical, in that once i finished it it seemed 'logical' to start reading it again. I also found it to be a powerful argument for god, which is rare in a work of fiction. Kudos to you, brother!

There making a movie of it, Im kinda worried about it thuogh cause I dont want it to suck

to me it would seem to fall into the unfilmable category. although i can just imagine how excited the hollywood execs would get at the 'twist'

Well I can see it being filmed Kinda like the film Big Fish. {Never seen it but I have heard things about it}

The ending was really good like the twist.

If they are going to make it into a film they can not miss out on any parts or it will ruin the story

Finished this book last night and am still thinking about it now. Was pretty good, don't see how it makes you believe in God though.

I still can't get my head around whether his first story was true or his second one.

Yeah its awesome, you can enjoy it superficially as a tale of survival, or you can look deeper and find a tale about religion and the author challenging modern conceptions of religious attitudes.

Did this in high school a really long time ago. You know how you always never seem to like books that you do in English Lit, but this book was the worse for me. Found it insanely boring apart from the end which was pretty good although I didn't find it as deep and insightful as it seemed to be.
