Yuna makes a good point about the pricing part of your suggestion, and I don't know if that would work or not, but as for the thread caption, I sort of like the idea. I tested it out on the Bronze Canticilles thread title. What is your guy's feedback on it?

I had a go at starting a few threads - there's one about William Mayne, the paedophilic children's author, and another about being inbetween books. Considering one on the value of reading, and how it's lost it's importance in the modern world. I was talking to Felony over msn the other day, and he told me he didn't read. This is the same guy who claims to read every post in loungin', every day.
 So, even though people are reading less books, lots of people are reading more.I'm not sure where I'm going with that, but it's interesting to think about.  ------------------- | |

Any new releases anyone is thinking of starting a thread about? I'm all entwined with the upcoming release of Amber and Iron in that new Dragonlance series, and would be willing to talk about that. Write a review about it, too, when I get the chance.

I've been reviewing lots of books. Makes the profiles look a tad more lively. And it's helping me beat SummonerSupreme.
 The only new releases I'm looking forward to are the English translation of Koji Suzuki's Spiral, and the final part of A Series of Unfortunate Events (which is actually out already). I'm broke, though. ------------------- | |

It seems that a lot of the great series that I'm aware of are all coming to a close around the same time. The Wheel of Time by Jordan, the Sword of Truth by Goodkind, Harry Potter by Rowling, Series of Unfortunate events by Snicket, etc. It's just kind of odd.

I haven't been keeping track of half those books, I've been too rapped up in finding me some books to keep me entertained for a while.
Well, it looks like the attempt to get the forum back on it's feet has died once more. Perhaps someone would like to try submitting this forum as a Featured Entity? Not enough people talk to me about books. | |

I think the problem is that, except for stuff studied in school, very few people on the site have the same taste in books.
