PE1 is good, but PE2 RULES! Its like RES-EVIL 0, 1, 2 and 3. And that type of format is awesome gameplay!

If I go to hell, satan's arcade will only have four games; Pacman, Floating Runner, Kessen, and PE 2. It took me months to finish the game, because I would get so bored and/or angry at how they took an innovative and award-winning concept and design and @$*#ed it up like cow in front of a semi. I don't think that game could have been worse if they tried! You don't build a whole slew of game mechanics and throw them out and call it a sequel! But I guess it's equal, PE is my 6th favorite, 2 is my 4th most hated.

Yup, I will share that sentiment with ya guys.

Didn't like the idea of PE2 at all after I played PE1. For one thing, they downplayed the importance of many things in PE2 which was good in PE1.

For example - no customization in PE2 and ya left with bunch of useless weapons and armour which does the same thing over and over again. Matter a fact, I have NEVER brought a single armour in this game.

Also, the Parasite Energy. In PE2, ya can finish the game without using the PE once. In PE1, it was important that ya develop the PE as quickly as possible, especially against the last boss. Without Liberate, it gonna be hell.

Also, the character development sucks big time. Aya seems to be a kid begging for help and she had idiot for partner (Rupert) and a cross-eyed donkey (Madigan) for a hero. Hell ... I liked Flint (the dog) more than I liked Madigan.
