After passing the entrance (mumblemumble) times, you'll be able to read a final message that was written by Garnet's mum...

Full answer: You have to go to Madain Sari with Garnet in disc 4 and visit Lani. She'll run away.

You must now leave Madain Sari and return with anyone except Garnet and Amarant. Go visit Lani again, and talk to her twice. Go to the Eidolon Wall, and walk clockwise from the entrance. You'll hear a chime, and then you have to walk anti-clockwise.

Repeat this 9 times, you're HP and MP will be restored, and you can now read what's on the wall.
