quote lucedeoangel quote Lovedove quote YumpsterGrilled cheese encompasses everything in a single served package. You've got the bread, which can be a matter of choice, but grilling it is essential, not too long, and not too short. The outside should be crispy and crunchy, but not burnt, while the inside of the bread should be warm and yielding, so you can bite and eat it easily. I recommend room temperature butter. Not only for taste, but the oil content in the butter will distribute heat much more quickly to the bread, aiding in caramelizing whatever sugars are in the bread, i.e. the Maillard effect. Cheese is also a matter of preference, my favorite being a mix between aged Wisconsin Cheddar and a thin slice of Muenster. Achieving harmony between having the cheese melted at the same time as the bread is done is something not easily mastered. Though, finely shredding the cheese can help. Spices added the cheese is optional, as is the inclusion of condiments, mustard is the norm, though just by itself is even more popular, and my preference. It's a great comfort food, in a nutshell. And I wish I had one right now. quote steve2603Well, since most of my songs are written in B. My current favorite is a whole step bend from the 17th fret on the E string to the 19th, which is a B. I don't usually stop there though, once I reach the pitch, I continue to vibrato it a whole step and a half beyond that, giving you the classic "80's" rock psycho vibrato. It's quite a bend if you think about it. From the 17th, you'd have to be able to bend to the 22nd fret. -------------------

I take cooking very seriously. Though I may be overcomplicating something that should be kept as basic as possible, like grilled cheese. N-not to say that grilled cheese is basic.

quote steve2603 At this moment, it'd be called On Fire. I've got about 10 songs, most of them need bass, drums, and lyrics, and I think I've got two instrumental pieces. Genre? Metal, all the way. -------------------

quote ViciousWould the title track be the single? I hope you don't sell out and let Guitar Hero use it. What do the lyrics of your songs consist of? Give us an overview. ------------------- ![]() Credit to Element for sig. Last.fm

quote steve2603The single would be called On Fire. You yourself are in possession of the music/tabs. Guard it secretly, lest someone takes it. Guitar Hero/RockBand can bite my garters. quote steve2603 So far I have: On Fire Basically this one is about heat, how intense it is, and what goes on through your mind during anything involving fire. Hallows' Eve Spooky Halloween stuff, this'll be from the ghosts point of view, weaving in a out through places, observing the living for the short time they're allowed to walk the earth. Tier Garten "Garden of Beasts" This is a diminished/chromatic song, and I don't have much on this one, the name may even change. A Better Tomorrow Instrumental. This one is short, but sweet. Gonna Make It Another Instrumental, this one is from a jingle I heard somewhere, and wrote a song around it, involves piano and stuff. F5 Name is subject to change, but my initial thought was to write about the power of a tornado, some pieces in the solo are cyclical even. Falling This is an inspiration from the OutWorld song, Riders, just a fast metal song, really. Reapers of the Living My latest one, and probably the heaviest, while it won't go into the 'death metal' range, it's very dark sounding. So...as you can see, it's very incomplete, but that's what you get when you write everything yourself, maybe in a year or so, I'll get it all together. No FFIX Questions? -------------------

Looks like you have some nice spooky themes there. Can I suggest for the On Fire music video that you and your band all play on a stage whilst being set alight? That'd look awesome and weird and br00talz.
I like writing lyrics, but they always come out corny or pretentious. quote ViciousIf you could live anywhere in Gaia, where would it be? ------------------- ![]() Credit to Element for sig. Last.fm

quote steve2603Absolutely. You've gotta be set on fire as well though. quote steve2603 quote steve2603Marcus looks like a troll, so I'd have to go with Blank, though only if I get to keep my personality, cause Blank's stinks. As for why, Blank's name is kinda cooler. -------------------
