I just recently unlocked MAX300. Through Game mode. I also unlocked the songs you get by events ; Failing Game mode for te first time, you get Celebrate, and failing Oni Mode for the first time, you get Gentle Stress.

Are there more songs? I heard of a Drop The Bomb rmix, by System SF, or LED or something, how do I get that?

Now that i edited this a long time after, I've unlocked this after 300 or so songs. Yup, I'm only missing DTB... (Drop The Bomb, the remix...)

A drop the bomb remix has been rumored for a long long time. Actually since the USA mix was launched to be exact.
My doubts are high that scotty d did a remix on the song though. As for unlocks. I'm not sure if that's it I'm still checking around as I get time myself.

I've still continued to unlock songs since MAX popped up. I noted at the end of one of the Oni Modes (it's either the 4th or 5th one you unlock), that Drop the Bomb IS in fact the last song. I think it's a remix, actually, but I can't imagine going through 17 straight songs only to face it, and lose.

Well, I kinda answerd my own question.... I have too still unlocked songs since MAX300.

(I haven't done any ONI's, and the only songs I need to unlock are Drop the bomb (remix) and Silent hill. I need to update the songlist. )

i heard you get silent hill by failing MAX300, but uh.. the first time I played it I passed it.

I have no idea how I unlocked Silent Hill...it's kinda a weak cheesy Christmas tune. I also unlocked Candy, recently...it's the ending theme, for when the credits roll. Oddly enough, it's shown in red, just like Max300, but it's nowhere NEAR as fast as Max300 is.....curious situation.

I'm guessing the red in the names is to show that it's a special song. Because if you look in the Information thing, and look at MAX300, it says you have overcome many obsticles, same deal with Candy. I'm guessing it'll be the same for the DTB Remix aswell.

And I personally can't wait to hear the new DTB. It's always been a good song.

After unlocking Candy, I just unlocked *another* new one last night...called 'Spin the Disk' or 'Spin the Circle'...still no sign of 'Drop the Bomb'....I have every song beaten on Light and Normal...and the majority on Heavy. Still no clue.

I've also found one called Graduistic Cyber....but no DROP THE BOMB. It might only be available as a bonus when one defeats the Oni courses.

I have all songs! Except DTB!! Ah! I've played a lot of songs. The last song I unlocked was Silent Hill. -_-" yea... interesting... maybe I'll go to the old 3rd mix machine on Christmas Eve. haha!

I haven't done any oni's, and I've just played my little heart out. I think around 1,000 songs.

I just have to tell you, this song kicks ass!!! I just got it, and it's #8 on my top 30 play list. lol

It's better then the original, by like 100 times! Wee! Must go play more.. and update the song list...

??? Get outta here!!! Congratulations!!! So you did no Oni's? I did every song on every difficulty, beat the first Oni, and have like 74% on a few other ones.....did you actually START a new game approx 1K times, or just play through 1K songs?

You've just given me a new reason to return to DDRMAX.....I had set it to the side to work on FFX side quests (while I wait for SC2!!!)....

I played 1000 songs. It's a seven footer on heavy, 5 on standerd, and 3 on basic. on heavy it's full of cross-overs. hehe, I love going backwards when a set of cross over arrows pop up...

i think my best rating for an oni was 47% On CLub Trax. yea, I suck...

I've played the game everyday since it's release, so that's how I did so many songs.

i diddn't do all the songs on all difficulties. i don't think I did So in Love (ick) and let's talk it over.

One-thousand? *sigh* Time to head on and play Max 300 a million times. ;-) Is there any sort've counter anywhere hidden in options, or something, that tells you how many you've done?

nope... wish their was though. Since you've completed an oni you don't have to do 1000 songs. I think you only have to do 900.
