Question time:

Is there any reason why sigs shouldn't be disabled in tutorial threads? Just having a look around and random sigs can make the tutorial threads less clear to follow. What do you guys/fran reckon? Same blanket policy as Digitial Portfolios?

Late response but, I think it should have the same policy. I have been looking around and sometimes there are multiple posts by the same person due to different tutorials and such, which ends up having their signature being shown the whole time. I believe it would look much cleaner and more organized for when tutorials are posted.

I'd love to hear what some members think.

can anyone make a advanced video tutorial it would be alot easier to follow.

Karen- A video tutorial that is more advanced with more detail.
It'll show exactly how to do it.
Videos are much easier to follow since you are watching, rather than reading.

okay You see what buttons to do. it's for more advanced people so that would help even if it was really complicated.
but of course you would have to slow down the speed of the video...

You won't find any video tutorials but there sure are a lot more 'advanced' tutorials in the Banner Tutorial Index. Meaning, they explain what you have to do in detail in text rather then a video. Check it out.

Also, if you notice that your tutorial is mistakenly tagged as a different program then notify us and will gladly change it. Not sure if this has been said already but would just like to point it out.

I'm pretty sure there was a discussion about that somewhere back but otherwise, it makes sense consider the other 3 forums have one. Why not make them unified but making this one a header also? It sounds like a good idea but I say hold off on for a while. We just had the Digital Portfolios forum header comp. end and before that was the main forums competition. Plus, with the addition of some new activities we're gonna want all the participants we can get.

Hmm, after looking throughout the thread I guess no one has brought it up before. Can't say I'm not surprised.
