Is there any reason why the effort that's gone into the bookmark thread in the main forum can't be transplanted to replace this thread?
I'm not suggesting you move the thread but rather take all of the "Tips and Tutorials" related links and move them over to flipper's thread/create a new "Tips and Tutorials Listings" thread. To generate more contributions you could always reserve a space in the header of both threads for "Most contributions from:...". Just a thought... (Oh and the stickies in this forum need updating with new mod names  )------------------- | |

I've been wanting to create a tutorial on rendering for the GIMP using the QuickMask Tool, I just don't know how many people would find use out of it?
I used the QuickMask tool for this image, and the render turned out really well for me. You'll need to zoom in for a better resolution. I'm certainly no expert at rendering, but if I put in the time and effort, then I'm sure I could create a decent one which would be helpful... ------------------- | |

imo we need a tut emphasizing on how to use the gradient tool for GIMP, and also newer (v2.g) tuts.

Errrm i dont know where else to post this but i had GIMP before but i don't quite remember where to download i from. I had my computer wiped clean.
