Help with fighters? Im ok with the stats but like profiencies and stuff or any adivce would help

Large sword and bow.

high stregnth, high dexterity, and high con, too. the other three don't matter so much, but i still wouldn't drop them much below 9 for each. and xavier's recommendation on weapon pro.s is also good, being as two of the best weapons in the game are world's edge, and the long bow of marksmenship.

Small sword is also good, because you can get the small sword of backstabbing. There are also plenty of good Xboxs, although you won't get a STR enhancement w/ those

went for large sword and spiked weapons for my fighter as he is also my main tank, he uses large shield +1, boots and buckler with +++ on missile weapons saves and also cloak of dispacement, when he is fully geared up for tanking while the rest hide behind and shoot arrows/crossbows slings and cast he has an armor class of -7 and a bonus of -16 to missile weapons, great for charging monsters and npcs firing nasty magic arrows at you. also im unsure whether it applies here but in original Dungeons and Dragons large blunt and spiked weapons have an added bonus versus skeletal type monsters for the crushing effect

a high charisma is a good idea for any class coz you get cheaper stuff from shops and also go for lawfull good so you get a hero discount!

But that's almost all it's good for.
