Help needed |
|
For some strange reason all my equipment has disappeared! While I collect deku sticks and nuts they do NOT appear. I even went to the shop to buy some sticks and even though it showed I had paid for them they do NOT appear on the equipment icons. I now have NOTHING! No sticks, no sling shot, NOTHING!!! I can go back out to the forest and slash things and get rupees but NOT equipment. I have an emulation version of the game for PC. Everything was working really well until just after I broke through the web in the deku tree and landed in the water. Initially I had a sick or two but now I have none and cannot get them back no matter where I go! Please help as I can't play the game now at all as I don't know what to do!!:

Discussion of emulators on Neoseeker is forbidden.
If you're really that early on in the game, I would just restart and try again. ------------------- ![]() Currently playing: Tenchu: Shadow Assassins (Wii).

yeah, we don't speak of roms here, the great mods forbid it.
Also, yeah, roms are much more likely to screw up then a actual cartridge. But to answer your question just restart, your like ten minutes in. ------------------- What is a drop of rain, compared to the storm? What is a thought, compared to a mind? don't even bother restarting it...if it happened on ur emulator before it's bound to happen again...or maybe something else will mess up. Go buy a N64 and an OoT cartridge, and play it for reals. Or get a gamecube and MQ

Zisor, you're assuming computers are rational. I've seen 2 computers, both with the same exact internal components and same exact data on the hard drive (we were ghosting them) boot up and require different updates. I've also seen 2 computers (again, same parts and same image on the drive) take completely different amounts of time to finish the same updates. So just because it broke at point A the first time doesn't mean it will break at point A the second time.
The whole "stupidity is trying the same thing over and over again and expecting different results" quote doesn't apply to computers (just ask anyone who plays a game on patch day - you just keep trying to log in, and clicking the same button eventually logs you in).

wiv the guards wen ur running across the field there should be a wall at the far end wiv little brick/stone shapes on it u cn climb up it then jump off at the side and into the water so the guards wont see u wen ur behind them.

re: Help needed |
quote skribsI didn't say it would happen again at "point A." I'm just saying it's not as reliable as the cartridge or the disc if you've got MQ. I wouldn't take the chance....it would totally suck if his stuff dissapered late in the game. The odds of that happening on the emulator are way way higher than on a cartridge. If you wanna use an emulator to save money, that's fine by me. But it's not an expensive game. You infered to much from what I said. I didn't say I think computers are rational; and we're not talking about computers, we're talking about an emulator problem...So if there's a software problem...then it may be likley that the problem will repeat. Could be a bad copy is all. This message was edited by Zisor on Jul 02 2009. This message was edited by Zisor on Jul 02 2009. -------------------
