Dude, that one's so easy! ITs by far Zelda. I mean, c'mon. In FF, everytime you get in a fight, you have to take turns to hit each other? Fighting is not organized. Zelda IS an epic and always will be.

well how does the character depth compare?

i'm a little conflicted here. i am both a hard core loz player and a ff player. im going to say that i love them both. lets see they both have a cool stroy line and game play .hmm mabey i should get windwaker.and ffx.damn this is getting expensive. ive beaten nearly all of both series.(i love toying with gannon thought)

How does the character development compare!

there is more to a game than just character depth. So it's really all just a matter of opinion if you prefer story and depth then you will most likely go with FF but you prefer combat then you will probable go with Zelda

I'm gonna say Final Fantasy. It's been around forever and actually has a two-year jump on Zelda. All the FF games are classics (regardless of whether the game was good or not) and are more popular than most Zelda games. Final VII, VIII, and X absolutely kill any Zelda game I've ever played, and I've played every one of them.

Hmmmm I'm gonna say Zelda since I'm a Zelda Fanatic. Also I do love all FF's I like Zelda's more since they were part of most of my childhood too, and Nintedo rocks.

i like them both great characters great stories just plain great but even though they both are great id still go for ff dunno why just would

Well, this is how I see it. It's all according to a person's preferences.

If a person likes games that go really in depth with character development and plotline, then FF is better.

If a person likes epic games without turn-based battles, then LoZ is better.

I agree ihssilsiisr or whatever. But seeing that I like story more than hack and slash I'll go with FF.
