i think zelda has a better storyline then the ff games, but thats probs cuz i dnt like the ff i think its really stupid how u av 2 attack then wait to get slashed then attack them an so on.
while on zelda u just run in a slash everything face to face

Just simply different kind of games, thus a direct comparison isn't really appropriate but in general... And let me start by saying that I love both series as I grew up with them both... Yeah Final Fantasy games have bigger stories with more complex plots, but then again they are aimed for a more developed audience and for game plays spanning 60 hours at least while Zelda Games, aimed for almost everyone to play have to keep things simpler (and yet they do manage to have great stories).

Final Fantasy is simply epic and that's why it has the well deserved fan base and place in history it has a lot of artistic value as much as it is allowed when speaking about Video Games... But Zelda games in their simplicity are also very appealing precisely because of that... plain and simple (but at the best standards), purely entertaining and memorable.

I think Zelda is better. I like FF but not as much Zelda!

I agree except the other way around. Zelda doesn't even compare with Final Fantasy. Final Fantasy is vastly superior to zelda.

Hey! I remember this thread back when I first joined! Which was about 2 years ago. Anyways, I remember not posting because the topic was so stupid- Zelda>Final Fantasy. Was OoT now rated best game of the year? Aha, I thought so.

Well, both games are great in my opinion, but I tend to like more Zelda games than FF games. Can't really explain why, but they just do.

final fantasy sucks...it might as well just be a movie for crying out loud. 5 steps, a cutscene. take 5 more steps, another annoying cutscene! Where is the real fighting? huh? zelda rules in all cases. anyone who argues with me will get a full page worth of zelda is better sentences.
