But in all seriousness, I fail to see how Link's (Lynn's?) gender would affect her capacity to wield a weapon. I mean, in OoT, he was a sheltered, roughly ten-year-old boy living in a peaceful forest village. If he is fit to swing that blade around, then she can as well.
