Time Management

Alright, so I really suck at doing what I'm supposed to at the beginning and I always end up being crushed by the moon. I have never gotten past this part, and I always get lost, or I take too long to complete a task. I also keep forgetting the stupid scarecrow is a huge time waster. I've finally decided I'm going to beat this hellhole and actually continue with the game, but first, I need your guys' help.

I need some time-management tips for this game, because I am really sick and tired of replaying the same thing over and over again.

Thanks.

re: Time Management

It shouldn't be too challenging overall to complete any segment of the game in the three days given, even if time flows normally.

However, because everyone loves to explore, I'd recommend obtaining every pre-dungeon item and song in one day. Then on the next, complete the dungeon, if you feel like it, you have more than enough time to collect the fairies on your first run through.

This game is severely underrated because people mis-understood the time mechanic. It's not a time limit, it literally is TIME.

re: Time Management

If you're looking to buy yourself a little extra time (actually, about twice the normal amount of time it takes to complete one three-day cycle) play the Inverted Song of Time as soon as you begin a cycle.

It really does help out if you're one of those people who loses themselves exploring Termina. It also helps you complete the Spider Houses, especially the Ocean Spider House where you need to find all of the Golden Skulltulas on the first day to get the Giant's Wallet (otherwise the prize is just rupees).

re: Time Management

Thanks, guys. Finally got past it.

I would have totally used those cool songs, but I didn't get my ocarina until AFTER the part I was having trouble with. I'm having no troubles now.
