Using LEGO Stunt Rally on Windows 2000 |
|
Has anyone tried to run LEGO Stunt Rally on windows 2000. When I launch the program the screen goes black, the cursor changes to an hourglass and then I am returned to the desktop. The readme says that the game has not been tested under Windows 2000, but I figured that with Directx 8.1 it should work (right? wrong!). I called tech support and they said to try the Microsoft XP application compatability patch(?), but I haven't had much luck finding it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My son was upset that I couldn't get this working.
Thanks, Steve | |

can you explain exactly how you did this? I set the Win 95 compatibility attribute on the Stunt Rally shortcut, but the exes and dlls in the stunt rally directory are not shortcuts, so this option is not available in their properties.
